MSR Rendezvous Sun Shield 200 Wing Tarp

I tried this out for 24 hours recently. Here are my positives: 1) Fairly High, at 5'9" I am able to just duck slightly and enter and stand/walk under the middle part with my head just brushing against the tarp. 2) Fairly Large, should be able to cover most if not all of a picnic table AND my small 2- person backpacking tent. (I did not do this because a fire pit/grill was between picnic table and tent space.) 3) Can erect by myself, did not have any wind, but I am able to do this with a smaller version made by Moss, before MSR took them over. (Their method might work for a standard tarp too?) 4) Catnary cut makes a taut pitch easy. 5) Thin guy lines are easy to stow in corner pockets. I might remove them a use a small s hook to attach them. So I could coil them out of the rain. Could still put them in the pocket later, or packet apart. 6. Looks well made. Negatives 1) Poles without a thin tip for grommet or loop, do not work in pocket for holding guy line. (The Moss version worked with a pole with a blunt end, and kayak paddles. Blunt pole slipped out when I tried. I can use ski poles/other poles instead for sides so somewhat minor. 2) The pole breaks down in sections that are too long to put in 19 x 15" x 7 " (very approx.) storage container I use for ever thing. Will figure out something. May just keep in the bag it comes with. I do that with my tent. 3) Longer setup time than say those pop-up covers, not sure those can be put up solo. Kinda of fun trying out different setups, but no need to be a tarp expert. Not sure why the more reflective side is underneath, not as gloomy on dark days. might be able to reverse for sun?
