Not as strong as the wind screens from the 90's
It works fine, the Windscreen is made out of a thinner or cheaper material than the ones in the 90's. I prefer the older ones, as you could bake easier on them. It is a wind screen and does it's job!

For the shorter stoves..
If it's needed to be explained that this short windscreen will only really help with the low profile stoves, you probably shouldn't be handling fire anyways.

If you know what it is, you know that it's super useful. Naturally it gets worn down after years of regular use, so I ordered another. I look forward to many more all-weather all-condition pots of boiling water without stress.

This is a replacement since
This is a replacement since the original lasted and performed great. Easy to set up and effective blocks the wind. Light weight and easy to pack.

I help keep a scout troop going. I like MSR stoves for their portability, there functionality, and the ability to get one going again when they start to sputter. Having some spare parts on hand just makes it easier. This probably won't be needed for a long time, but it was on sale, so, now we have a spare.

Just what you need.
Exactly what I needed. After 12 years of use with my sons on the trail the original one was showing its age. This is looks like an exact replica and I expect it will last just as long and even longer since my sons are adults with their own gear.

Great resource for conserving fuel
These are essential for helping save fuel by blocking the wind and also concentrating the output of heat solely on what you're cooking.

If You Don't Have One, Get One
This makes a huge difference when it is cold and windy. I lost my original windscreen a few months back, and while my whisperlight still worked, there was a noticeable drop in efficiency when trying to boil water. The windscreen fixed that right up. I just need to break it in more so it is easier to fold up!

I love my WhisperLite stove. the heat reflector keeps the heat under my pot while boiling water or cooking. It folds down nicely to pack with the stove. I would recommend this item to anyone using the WhisperLite stove.

Hard use.
This is how my reflector looks after about 20 years of use. It is still usable, but I think it is time to retire it and buy a new one. Would I recommend this to others? Well, I am buying a new one, so I guess so.

Reasonably effective, surprisingly long-lasting
This thing is basically a sheet of very heavy foil. When I first got it, I expected it to crack apart after it had been folded and unfolded a few times. I wasn't convinced it would get through my first trip. At this point, I probably folded it and unfolded it well over a hundred times. It's still in one piece and totally usable. It is not a perfect windscreen (is there such a thing?) but it worked well enough with my Dragonfly stove that we never went hungry.

Heat it UP
I bought the heat reflector a few years back... it is very good for keeping my stove from blowing out and channeling the heat to my pots... makes for a faster cup of coffee in the morning :)

BIG Performance in a Unlikely package
I bought this befor I went to alaska for a Guide Training course and my instructor who wishes to remain nameless wasnt a MSR fan and though it wouldnt work in brooks range, well when his failed mine did not, it sped up boil times and allowed my to cook ontop of a saddle with up to 40mph gust of wind. OUTSTANDING. Wish I woulda had it in Afagn while in the Army Woulda saved alot of time.
