Love this tent so far! Took it out on a 2 night trip and was impressed by the attention to detail put into making this product better than the last.

I have a very old Huba huba 2. It's an excellent tent. Last February I was in NZ and a 40+ mph side wind came up. The sides of the tent were laying down on us every minute during gusts. Out of about 20 tents in the confined area ours was one of 3 still standing. All of the poles were bent a bit. I contacted MSR regarding replacement. They never followed up.

Took this on my most recent Backpacking trip, This trip was not very kind to us with knee deep mud and pouring rain then snow then more rain, However this tent kept us warm and dry. It had enough room for 2 double wide pads and enough room on the sides and foot for all of our gear. Things I Loved(I loved this tent but my key things I liked more then other tents), -Huge Bathtube floor made sure 0 moisture got in even when a puddle formed by the door, it also kept all of our gear in when we opened the door -so many pockets, we were able to put 60% of our stuff in the pockets making way more room then you would think -packability, yes this isn't the lightest tent in the world, yes the poles aren't the shortest in the world, but you know what, they are small enough to perfectly in the side water bottle pouch and take up little room to leave tons of room for all other things, the included bag is perfect as its the perfect size to squeeze into your bag and its a roll top bag so you can fold however you want with tons of room to spare and don't have to stuff into a small bag. - The bags, all the bags fold into itself to close meaning no tieing and easy sealing Things I noticed, - when packing up I notice the tent had fully wetted through, (yes it did rain for many hours so is to be kinda expected however I haven't had this on my marmot tungsten) yet on the inside it was perfectly dry and never had any water drip through. Thankfully Msr added easy pull adjustments to keep the fly tight even when its starting to sag due to moisture This is my first trip with this tent and it pushed the limits of what I expect any tent of this category to be able to handle and it kept me warm, dry and with enough room to comfortably sit inside all day and not feel like a prison. I cannot wait to use this again on my next trip, Hopefully just a little bit drier this time

Just spend night in this baby in torrential downpour. . . hours of sidewise rain. So much so that I woke up in the puddle because water wasn't draining anymore. Water completely surrounded tent and was about an inch deep. Inside of a tent was completely dry. My sleeping bag and mat, all was dry ( beside condensation obviously. So the night of pretty bad weather led to outstanding protection result with me being comfy and happy. Great job MSR, you def fixed all the previous issues I read about

I've been using the MSR Hubba Hubba 2 LT on a few trips now, and overall, it's a great lightweight tent for backpackers who want to cut weight without giving up comfort. The updated design feels roomier, thanks to the wider head pole-it really makes a difference when sitting up or moving around inside. The extra mesh on the sides helps a lot with airflow, especially on warmer nights, and the tent stays surprisingly cool even in humid conditions. I also really like the extra storage pockets and the built-in clothesline-those little touches make organizing gear so much easier. One thing I'm a bit cautious about is the thin ground fabric. It hasn't given me trouble yet, but I'd definitely recommend using a footprint just in case you're camping on rougher ground. Also, the new waterproof stuff sack is a win-makes packing up in the rain way less stressful. All in all, a solid, lightweight tent that's summer-friendly, easy to set up, and full of smart features. Just keep an eye on the floor and treat it with care.

Fantastic tent! Can't wait to use it next weekend for a camping trip up to Mount Robson. Only thing that I wish was instead of it being 75 x 90" I wish it was 80 x 90".

Same great tent I had for 15years but in extra light and compact version with a few pleasant upgrades like the metal pole loops and the bag with lateral opening. The color is also lovely, discreet and let's the morning light in.

Used it on a beach bike packing trip on the northern California coast totally awesome. so easy to set up. Had to move the tent a couple of times because we didn't know what the tide tables were. thought we were gonna get flooded, never happened but nonetheless tent was super easy to pick up and move around while we were worrying about that. I slept well in it. used it up in the Trinity Alps last week also super nice.

Amazing tent. Way bigger than a typical two person tent but still packs down nice and small and more importantly is light. Didn't get any bad weather on my first time out but everything looks amazing and sturdy.

The Hubba Hubba LT 2-Person tent is amazing! It is incredibly simple to set up and packs away easily into its bag. It is incredible lightweight but still feels durable and it has all the features you didn't know you wanted. The clothes lines inside the tent are such a nice touch. There is more than enough room for 2 people plus some gear inside the tent and enough headroom to sit upright comfortable at 6'2". I have the utmost confidence in this tent for all my adventures

Lovely! Hard to believe they made this tent both bigger and lighter than the previous version, but they did. I'm not a big fan of all mesh tents, but this is a nice compromise with the solid walls extending a good ways up. Some nice touches, like having extra guy lines included. Also, so sweet, they installed a clothesline with tensioner. For me, that's always an annoying task that the first time set up the tent in the rain!

The walls are almost vertical which is really accommodating. Great tent overall. Thanks to the new solution dyed fabric.

Airy and spacious, the lightweight Hubba Hubba LT 2 has plenty of room to stretch out for both you and your backcountry partner.
The Inside
The interior is a roomy 32 sq. feet with no taper to accommodate modern rectangular sleeping pads. The tent body is mostly solution-dyed micromesh for exceptional breathability and bug protection, perfect for star-gazing on clear nights. No-curve tent doors feature zippers that are easy to use with one hand. They also zip closed to a single point so you always know where to open the door, even in the dark. Tech-friendly pockets feature cable ports at the corners for headphones and charging cords. Large overhead gear loft pockets are perfect for headlamps, sunglasses and other quick-access items, and an included clothesline lets you dry out damp clothes.
The Outside
The symmetrical tent design means you can set up the Hubba faster than you thought possible, particularly handy for those unexpected rainstorms. Durable and light DAC poles, a PFAS-free water-repellent coating and taped seams keep the Hubba stable and dry so you can ride out any weather in comfort. The rainfly features large vestibules for storing any gear you don't want inside. Easy in-and-out vestibule doors feature StayDry rain gutters to catch any drips, while updated kickstand vents add even more airflow. Premium metal corner hardware is easy to use and super durable; eight included Mini Groundhog stakes are strong and lightweight.
