Although I like the size and weight of this bladder, I couldn't get over the plastic taste it left in my water. Even after adding drink mixes or using for cooking, the plastic taste remained. Others in my group weren't as bothered, so if you don't have a strong sense of taste maybe it won't bother you. I wouldn't buy this again, and will be passing mine along.

I purchased two 4L bags. One had a pin hole in it straight out of the package and the other has been holding up just fine. As for the customer service, I filed a warranty claim a month ago and still haven't received a response from msr.

For starters I have used a lot of different water bags as I guide in Alaska. What I like: The 3 different lids are perfect for filling the bag, to pouring it out as you need it and then to use it to wash your hands and dishes. What I don't like: The tiny string to hold on the middle cap is a bit of a pain in the butt and I know it will get broken before long. I think a magnet or stiff hinge would be way better.

One of my MSR dromlites is great. The other one has a defective screw cap on the bag side and I have yet to get a reply from customer service.

Have not used yet. The quality feels good. The middle black refill where the string is on both the 6L and the 10L get caught and are hard to open and close. I'm sure they will be easier to use than the 10L Camelback which is heavier.

I used these on a backpacking trip into the Grand Canyon. 4L for a water stash on the way in, 4L in my pack and a 6K for camp. These DromLite are replacing the original dromedary backs which have lasted a couple decades. Every ounce matters going down into the Grand Canyon and these are SO light! I hope these light weight bags last as long as the original. The hanging feature is great for camp. The spout and cap work really nicely. It stays closed in my pack even with other things on top of it. The little piece used to hold the cap to the lid isn't well designed and broke on all of mine. I will cut it off next time. The red and black cord on the end isn't well attached and I found it in the dirt a couple times. MSR could secure it better at the factory with a knot which keeps it secure.

I have a 4 L and a 6 L bag. Really love how small they pack down when not carrying water. I live somewhere where I dry camp a lot so carrying water in is a necessity and these bags make it easy.

Durable, very well made, thoughtful features without a lot of extra, love the ability to hang it and this was designed into the product. Doesn't flavor the water.

It performed flawlessly for the whole 31 days and 11,525 miles on the back of my MoskoMoto panniers. The little dispensing valve was great, as I could refill small water bottles, brush teeth, splash face and wash hands, wash/rinse dishes, mix cocktails, etc., all right from the bag holder on the back of my bike. I am very happy with the bag and always pleased with MSR products and their Customer Service Dept.

The large-mouth closure can be tricky to screw on when full of water, but the shape and size(s) are so packable when hauling 4 days' worth of water and easy to pack into a small side when empty.

Bought and used on multiday backpack. Overall worked perfectly for what we needed. Con: the elastic tie on one end is not load bearing. Pro: a full bag survived a 6 foot fall onto sharp rocks; no damage at all. The packaging could use directions or link or something with initial cleaning directions. I found them online and no plastic or strange taste at all.

It is so convenient to have a bladder to fill at camp and then not worry about getting more water that day. Fills up quickly from my filter, and the end of the filter screws perfectly onto the Dromlite. Haven't noticed a bad taste at all, maybe because I washed it out when I got it and let it dry thoroughly after every trip. have left bag hanging full off of trees multiple times and have seen no durability issues. Highly recommend as a great addition to any water system.
