Resurrection
Received my snowshoes as a birthday gift 20 years ago and then never really used them. When covid hit, I ordered the replacement straps and they worked perfectly and provided many days of wonderful days on the snow out in the woods.

Tames My Unwieldily Wheel
I am using a snowshoe strap to tie the front wheel of my bicycle to the down tube of the bike. This makes it less un-wheel-dily to carry my bike into the basement.

Good - but...
MSR snowshoes are THE best. One issue: the straps have a life. Sure - everything does. It doesn't seem outrageous in the modern technological world to have straps that last as long as the rest of the shoe. To end on a positive note: these 'shoes are the ugliest (haha), toughest, most versatile snowshoes around. They aren't sexy like all of the aluminum framed offerings but they have no equal on a side slope (metal rails on bottom) and even face on to a slope. Keep up the good work. Fix the strap degradation issue.

MSR Denali 12" Snowshoe straps
Needed new straps for my MSR Denali snowshoes, as the originals had reached their end-of-life through wear & tear. These were exact replacements, so the perfect solution. Buying from Cascade Designs directly was actually cheaper than from either Amazon or eBay. I am fully satisfied.

The straps are fine and work. Given that these straps fail in real cold, it would be decent for MSR to provide replacements at just over cost. Charging $20 for what may be a $2 strap doers not leave one with a good feeling.

just perfect replacement.. delivery was speedie... Although I'm not sure why the straps crap out in the first place. I have a pair of Sherpas with the old neoprene straps and binding from 50 years ago and never needed replacing or repair...Whats up?
