This pot is sooo close to being great. Love the spout and size and weight are great; although, I wouldn't mind one even larger since it's titanium. Improvements needed: (1) the lid pops off and falls inside the pot with hot water or when pouring liquid; (2) I love the side handle but add a bale handle on top, too; and (3) remove the covering on the lid handle, which just melts when using in a fire, and design it so it stays up so can use gloves or a stick to remove the lid. The lid popping off was annoying enough for me that I donated my kettle. With these improvements, I'd be back for another purchase.

Build is very solid, could be improved by a more traditional kettle design(like the pika teapot) or some more insulating handles.

This pot is great! I use it for melting snow for water. It's a great height v.s. width, so it's stable on a Whisperlite. The lid fits well and the handles are functional. One improvement would be the machining for the lid handle; it's really hard to get it to lock in the vertical position, especially with gloves on. Other than that, this pot is heading with me on every mountaineering adventure!

This is a very nice kettle/cookpot. It does everything it should, the only down side are the handles. They are useless. They are way too small and get very hot. You will need gloves or something to hold the kettle with. A bit larger/longer handles would solve this problem and dissipate the heat much better.

As a wilderness canoe guide in the BWCAW and Quetico I use my equipment a lot. When I'm not guiding i am out on my own. I have been wanting one of these pots for some time. They are worth the money. Incredibly lightweight, tight fitting lid, pour spout and just the right size. A good investment in quality gear which I will likely pas on at some point in the future.

Purchased for melting snow. It's lightweight. Lid fits snugly and water pours smoothly. Couldn't ask for anything more. Just be sure to add sufficient water (lots) to begin snow melt. Stupidly discolored the bottom of my new kettle but didn't warp.

This Big Titan Kettle along with the Pocket Rocket 2 stove has become my spring/summer solution for the mountains. This lightweight kettle is large enough to melt significant snow for water, but is light and simple for easy packing. The pouring spout and handles are great for distributing contents to multiple users. When I need a simple, lightweight pot and stove solution, this is my go-to.
