Excellent tent and UBER packable!

Awesome tent!! Super lightweight and compact. Without the fly, it's airy - with the fly it's warm enough for cold mountain nights (we were in 20deg with no problem).

Perfektes Setup!

Das Zelt ist super (wie auch unser großes Hubba Hubba) und bietet genau den Platz, den ich auf einer Solo-Tour brauche. Mit 1,85m Größe kann ich darin bequem sitzen. Aber die kurzen Stangen und die Packtasche sind einfach genial: ich kann Oberzelt, Innenzelt nacheinander hineinstecken, ohne dass es wieder herausfällt, dann noch den Footprint reinpacken und zuletzt die Stangen (diese packe ich auch hinein, weil kompakter). Dann Schnallen einklipsen, Gurte straffen, fertig. D.h. die Packtasche bleibt während der ganzen Tour am Lenker! Das einfache Packen machte mir jeden Tag Freude (auf 2 Touren á 7 Tage).

Hot Tent

I like the carry bag that opens conventionally which makes packing extremely easy, also the clothe line feature is a nice touch and useful, the dark green colour also enables me to 'sleep in' more easily. But man this tent is hot, I mean even before I put the rain fly on. It's a little odd to me because to use more mesh should means less weight and lower cost (assuming mesh is cheaper). So for this reason I think this tent is better suited for cooler and drying climates, to use it in hot and humid environments I worry that rain would happen from the inside!!

Hubba Improved

Hubba Hubba is a great design. Bikepack corrects the one flaw of the original. "Poles that did not fold up short enough to fit crossways in a pack" Congratulations to the designers at MSR.

Awesome bike packing tent!

Awesome tent for bike packing! Love how it packs down and is very simple to set up. The storage bag is strong material for rugged trails and seems to be waterproof. Very sturdy in strong winds. Being a single person tent It is small and does not have a ton of spare room for gear. Hasn't been an issue for me so far but good to be aware of.

I've previously owned a 1-person Hubba Hubba, but this is definitely an improvement. As an avid Bikepacker, having poles that collapsed to such a compact unit is a big advantage. I'm currently riding a Kona Unit X with a straight bar with a Ortlieb handle bar bag, so I have not used the one that comes with the tent. However, my gravel bike riding friend has and loves it.
