D K : does this Marmot 4p Limelight tent include the standard orange rain fly & footprint? thx in advance for your helpELIZABETH R : I purchased the Limelight 4P in December 2019. It has a footprint (slightly smaller than the tent) and a complete cover rainfly. They both attach to a tab at the 4 corners of the tent. It comes with stakes but not enough to completely tie down. You will need to buy a few extra stakes. It has a 54" center height. I'm 5'7" and I can sit on a camp stool with head clearance. Roomy inside for 2!MARCUS K : Yes, it comes with the footprint, which is nice because many tents don't. OF course it comes with the rain fly. Have you ever seen a tent that doesn't?AUSTIN B : Hi, yes this tent comes with the rain fly and the footprint.KELLY M : Yes
Michael T : Is the zipper metal or plastic on the Marmot Limelight P4?Ryan S : They are metal with a cord pull tab. I haven't had them snag yetRobert M : I own the newer 2P and 4P along with the older 3P. Not home right now but pretty sure the zippers themselves are metal with rope pulls. I’ve spent weeks in the 2P on the trail and my young son and I have abused the 4P at home and campsites up and down the east coast in both the USA and Canada. We’re never had a problem with the Limelight tent zippers.CRAIG H : Metal with a paracord pull.
Melinda S : does the Marmot Limelight 4 come with a free footprint??Robert M : Yes, all LimeLight tents from Marmot come with the footprint. I have the older 3P which came with it years ago. I've also purchased the newer 4P and 2P versions from SS and both also included the footprint. Note that the 4P includes 10 stakes. This is enough to ground the tent but not to fully guy it out. I'd suggest ordering a few more stakes and some reflective guy line as well. Top quality tents with everything going for them.Michelle M : Mine did. It should confirm in the product description.Eric D : Yes. It's a nice tentJonathan E : Yes, it included the footprint.ERIC D : Yes, it does. It is a bit thin but held so far. When I have space or go car camping I use a more rugged tarp underneath as well.TY F : Yes. Footprint is included.AUSTIN B : Yes - sure does! Great tent, I purchased it from Sunny Sports a few months ago

More to come

Exactly as described. We already had the 3p version of the tent and loved it. We recently got a dog and want her to come camping with us, so we needed a larger tent. This 4p fits the bill perfectly, though we haven't had a chance to use it out in the wild yet. More updates to come.

Great tent

So far I love the tent. Only thing I would change so far is the color. A little bright for my taste, but I can live with it to have the design overall.

Epic!

I havenâ??t gotten to use my tent yet but after just setting it up in my backyard I can tell I am going to have many great trips with this tent. The tent arrived very quickly and is in perfect condition. Set up in 5 minutes and extremely spacious! Super amped on this purchase.

Very roomy tent

This appears to be a good compromise of size and weight to functionality. The intended purpose is canoe camping with two campers and not having to keep gear outside. The tent is like all the other Marmot tents Iâ??ve owned, well built with thoughtful details and good materials. I like the door arrangement and the headroom.

Ideal for what we need, back-country or car camping.

A roomy, lightweight, easily set-up multi/purpose tent that's full of great features. Great protection and superior views for flyless sleeping.

Great tent at a great price

Purchased this tent from Sunny Sports in summer 2017. Item arrived fast, new in box and had everything included. Backpacked into the mountains with my girlfriend and had a great trip - tent held up great and was very comfortable to live in. Plenty of room to move around, all the materials are very well engineered and will no doubt last years to come.

Sturdy, Roomier than it looks!

I took this tent on a cross-country roadtrip last month, and camped in all kinds of conditions. The tent not only had plenty of room for 3 people, the large vestibules gave us a nice space for gear. It is super-easy for one person to set up, and has way more pockets than any other tent I've ever owned, including one at the bottom of the door that's very easy to reach if you just need to grab your keys or headlamp - genius! If you leave the fly off, the air circulation is GREAT in this tent, since it has lots of mesh. The silver side-poles really extend the headroom here, to the point where I can more or less stand up in this lightweight tent - granted, I'm 5'0", but still.... The only negative I'd give this tent (and it's minor!) is around door construction. Most tents I've owned have the fabric "hinge" for the tent door on the top or side. This one hinges from the bottom. so, if you open it all the way, it sits on the ground and gets dirty. My solution is just to open half of the door at a time (as shown in the photo here), which is still plenty roomy.

Exactly as described. We already had the 3p version of the tent and loved it. We recently got a dog and want her to come camping with us, so we needed a larger tent. This 4p fits the bill perfectly, though we haven't had a chance to use it out in the wild yet. More updates to come.

Marmot designed this tent to be simple and straightforward, and to be quickly set-up or taken down so you can get to the actual act of camping more quickly and with less fuss. Near-vertical walls are an awesome feature to have after a long day of hiking, and the Limelight has Marmot's "Zone Pre-Bend Construction" which adds valuable space to the tent's interior. If rainy weather is on the forecast, pack the included footprint and don't worry about those gray clouds on the horizon. Like other Marmot tents, there are taped seams on both the full-coverage rainfly as well as the catenary cut floor. One unique feature of the Limelight is the massive, super-sized door on the front and D-shaped door in the back. You'll fall in love with the Limelight tent in no time thanks to the roomy interior and weather-proof design.

Marmot Limelight 4P Tent Features

  • Zone Pre-Bend Construction creates vertical walls and adds interior room
  • One rear D-shaped door, and one super-sized double wide door in the front
  • Strategic clip placement increases interior volume for added room
  • Seam taped full-coverage fly with vents
  • Seam taped catenary cut floor
