Inspired by a new relationship (and camping buddy!) I decided to level-up from my cozy Limelight to the much roomier Halo 4. By my standards, this is luxury camping for 2. Even with the higher ceiling, it does great in the wind - and the rainfly keeps us dry and warm when the weather isn't cooperating. But the best part is going fly-free on balmy desert nights, taking full advantage of the wide-open mesh top. star-gazing from bed is truly living the dream! I only wish that the footprint (very necessary) and better stakes (these are duds) had been included. But I look forward to many years of Halo Happiness!

This tent is great. I used it through 3 super windy days with a constant heavy downpour, and no leaks or rattling. I could barely believe the way this tent held up under such significant wind and rain. My tent neighbours was not so lucky and his tent just collapsed... (I offered him shelter)

This is by far the best tent I have ever owed and withstands all weather without a hiccup!

Hi, I had this tent for a number of years, and have had a couple of small issues with it. I called Marmot support, and a person, who actually spoke English, answered the phone quickly and solved my problem. I was going to try and fix it myself but she told me about the Marmot Lifetime Warranty, and solved my problem for free. Great tent, and especially A++ for customer service.

My wife and I toured Europe by car from April to November and used this tent most nights. It never leaked. We had no condensation problems. It dries very quickly. Is super quick and easy to erect. Its unique halo pole design means high almost vertical walls inside. No complaints from us. It was a bargain for what it provided for us.

I travel around the west with my wife and 2 big dogs in a Subaru Crosstrek. This tent is the perfect size for packing small enough, but living large enough for all of us when we wanna set up somewhere nice. It's wicked durable and easy to set up and breakdown for all of our adventures.

I have 2 other Marmot tents, a 3P and 2P. So I decided to get a 4P for me, girlfriend and 3 dogs. I have used this on 5 trips and each morning the rainfall is dripping water on us. I leave all 4 vents in the fly open and all the windows in the tent. I have never had this problem with their other tents. Ventilation is horrible. Each morning we have to take the rainfall off and lay it on the jeep to dry out. Literal pools of water on the rainfly. Going to look for a different 4P tent.

This tent is awesome for a husband/wife/dog with room. Size is spacious but what is the best thing is the Doors / Windows! Each has two screens - standard bug / mesh etc but you have the ability to zip up another screen for privacy. It makes keeping the rain fly off during hot weather much more doable b/c you still get privacy. Super easy to set up... like easy! Great tent - would recommend. Marmot is good quality (esp. if you take care of it properly). The tent is big .. but not too big. 3 adults, 2 adults + kid or two depending on age, 2 adults / dog + dog mat and gear.

This tent is the stuff dreams are made of. Recently used for the first time through a heavy downpour with no leaks or rattling. I could barely believe the way this tent held up under such significant distress.

Took my tent out camping for the first time and it was great. Easy to set up, the zippers run smooth and don't get tangled up, and the frame held up well in the wind wish no issues.

This tent is the coziest, most well constructed tent I've ever owned. It has I believe a whopping 18 interior pockets, loops in the ceiling for lights or Marmots bird nest storage items. The rainfly is just great. There is superior ventilation, but absolutely no water seepage or leakage points. The zippered door has an ingenious design allowing you to have as little or as much privacy/breeze as you would like. This tent has stood up to many storms, including a very intense one on which is sustained 8 straight minutes of 88mph winds with no harm done. It's got a very easy set-up and tear-down, the poles are made of durable metal tubes rather than that crappy fiberglass stuff cheaper tents have. The sleeves for the poles are a high quality mesh that does not catch or snag on the poles as you slide them through. It's lasted me over 5 years now with multiple camping trips each year, and I foresee it lasting at least another 5 years, probably longer.

The tent worked well in nice, warm weather. The ventilation was excellent and I loved the large size of the tent... three adults were able to sleep comfortably with room for our gear. We were camping down in Florida and it was extremely hot and humid at night, so ventilation was of utmost importance. However, this tent was a disaster when the Florida thunderstorms rolled in. We had the rainfly on the tent and cinched it down tight. We also had the footprint setup properly under the tent (which we had to pay extra for!). The storms rolled through at night, and when we woke up in the morning, there was a TON of water on the floor of our tent, under our sleeping pads. Additionally, the poles that form the "halo" around the tent caused huge amounts of water to pool above each vestibule (on the rainfly), even though we had staked out the rainfly so that it was taut. This expensive tent is not worth the price, because it cannot stand up to rainstorms.

I gave this tent as a gift. They have used it once for a weekend camping trip and love it. For 2 people it has tons of room, set up and take down is easy, easily fits in its storage bag and has loads of great features. I found it on sale at Sunny Sports for a great price and applied a coupon for additional savings that made this tent almost 1/2 price. Also received great service from Sunny Sports. All around great buying experience. If you buy this tent, be sure to get the 2018 model. It is much improved over the previous version of this same tent.

Car camping and outdoor time with friends and family is better when you're comfortable. The Halo 4-Person Tent offers tons of livable space, thanks to its innvoative pole structure. An oversize double-door and side D-shaped door makes it easy for everyone to get in and out without creating a bottleneck. A large front vestibule and interior pockets offer storage and keep gear off the floor. The vented, full-coverage fly offers complete rain protection without sacrificing air circulation while seam-taped floor helps prevent leak. Color-coded poles make it easy to set up while the light-reflective points ensure finding your way back to the tent at night is a little easier.
