This jacket was a little compressed when I first got it out of the box, but after a day or two it puffed up. It keeps me warm hanging out outdoors, very efficient coat!

Love this coat! So warm, so comfortable and very compact for travel. I’m 5’6” 125 lbs and went with the medium. I could have probably gone with the small but the medium allows for layers and is easy to move in for winter walks.

My wife loves this coat so much that this is the second one I ordered for her. She normally wears size small (5'5" &115 lbs) but got a medium size. By far the warmest coat she's ever worn.

I love the coat. It’s keeping me very warm so far in our cold Maine winter. But. This coat runs extremely small. I read reviews and went up a size. I should have gone up two sizes. I’m only 5’3” and 125 lbs. I ordered a medium. The chest is very very tight. Even with my larger chest I can’t imagine i should have had to order a large. I removed the tags so I can’t exchange it. There is no room to wear a second layer under the coat. It’s obviously not as tight with just a thin shirt. It will still keep you warm, but then you have to carry your second layer with you to put on after you remove your coat. Kind of a hassle I’d buy it again but two sizes bigger than my normal size

This jacket is amazing. When temps were in the teens, I could take my dog on a long walk and stay completely warm. I am a baby in the cold and this jacket keeps me warm. It’s amazing and I love the way it looks. I got the green and I love it!

The coat is exceptionally warm. This is my second one. The hood is oversized which is a plus in windy, cold, and snowy weather. It has a detachable hood. Inside pockets are nice and deep and fleece lined. Drawback is the fit. Normally wear a small and had to send back twice and ended up with a large. So, it runs small - beware of that when ordering. Would have been nice if more color selection- like red.

I wore this coat to a 30 degree college football game and I was plenty warm. I’m 6’ tall and this coat hits just above my knee. It’s the longest knee length warm coat I’ve been able to find since my North Face I got over 10 years ago. I’m about 185lbs and a Large fits comfortably even with a sweater. And for the sale price I got it’s more than worth it! We’ve even had a few negative temperature days and this coat was warm but I didn’t stay outside for extended periods in those temps. My husband is even jealous of the soft fleece inside.

This is my first marmot coat ever. I really like it! the color is a deep purple, not shiny. it's very light weight, it looks very good quality and is super soft and warm, also has deep pockets which is nice. It has a double zipper that goes all the way up and down. The hood is adjustable and doesn't reduce visibility, at least not much. I only tried it at home, but it feels very warm. I am 5' 4'' about 130lb pear shape body. Usually I wear a size s for top outer layers and M for lower body. I ordered a S and it fits, but it's a bit tight in the arms and hips. I will exchange for a size up. The length hits me right at the knee, above the knee cap. I wish it was a tad longer. but overall great length. The only cons I found was that it has an inner sleeve but it doesn't have the ones you can put your thumb through (I like this in the winter they keep all the cold air out). It's not a cheap coat, but the value seems worth it. I'll have to test it in MI winter to corroborate that. Also the shipping was pretty fast, I liked that they sent it in a cardboard box and not in plastic.

Very warm. Wore outside for recess duty when it was 5 degrees and I was very warm. I bought this because I live in Vermont and am tired of being cold! The zipper is key. I am 5’2,140 lbs and the medium fits perfect.

This coat is the absolute best! It's so warm that I don't necessarily need to wear a sweater or jacket underneath it. That 700 fill really makes a difference. Additionally, the coat is stylish. I've had many people at work comment about how stylish it looks. I am very happy with my purchase; it was money well-spent. I do want to add that it sheds a tiny bit, but not serious enough for me to rate it less than 5 stars.

The coat is warmer than my North Face coat. I will continue to buy Marmot as supposed to North Face for the warmth and look and style and price.

My girlfriend absolutely loves this coat. Incredibly warm and stylish. Fit is strangely tight across the chest area. I would recommend buying a size larger than your normal.

So happy I purchased this coat. I stand outside checking in buses at an elementary school in Boston. Freezing cold wind doesn't bother me now. Hood is perfect and keeps me dry. Love the zippered pockets inside and outside. High quality coat. I bought one for my daughter as well and she thanks me every week.
