This product is exactly what it says it is- comfortable, waterproof , durable and rugged. This is my third pair and they are the best hiking shoe for me!

I have quite a few different pairs of Merrell shoes. I bought these to walk my dogs in the winter & spring months in Pa. They are sturdy , waterproof , good looking & have great tread , but after about a month of wear, I am still slowly breaking them in. They hit my foot in the tongue area and that's where I am having a problem. I sure hope this breaks in soon and they become more comfortable.

My job as an orientation and mobility specialist to help people who are blind learn to use walking routes, public transportation, and other means of travel since they are unable to driive. I am all over cities and towns, sometimes rural, sometimes urban. I need a waterprrof shoe that is comfortable and long lasting, and Merrells have always been my go-tos. This is the third pair of Moabs that I've owned over the years. I wear them hiking, and during the cooler months just about everywhere, as they are very comfortable and sure-footed. My only criticism is that their point of wearing out for me has been on the rubber part of the toe---some splitting has occurred here with 2 pairs I've owned. You folks might want to reinforce that area a bit better. Other than that, they're great.

The rain finally washed away enough snow that I was able to try my new Moab 3 Waterproof shoes out on a long, rainy walk, and they were a success! Very warm, cosy, and comfortable. The soles are thick enough to insulate against the cold, and the traction on slippery surfaces is great. They seemed completely waterproof. I recommend them highly.

I bought this shoe a few months ago for walking the trails with my dog. This shoe is so comfortable that I want to wear it all the time. I've never owned a more comfortable hiking shoe! I, also, own Moab trail running shoes that are equally as comfortable. The hiking shoe ran a little smaller than the running shoe. I wear an 8 in the running and 8.5 in the hiking. Thank you for making these!!!

Wore them for the first time today. Transported myself to the PNW and - no surprise - was greeted this morning by a rainy morning on my walk. These shoes kept the needed traction and keep my feet dry, too.

This is my 3rd pair and I absolutely love them. They give me the support I need when walking my dog. A surprising benefit is how warm they are when walking in colder or snowy weather. My feet are warm and dry with only thin socks. Definitely will purchase another pair when needed.

I haven't had these shoes long enough to rate the durability, but they have been comfortable from the very first time I wore them. They are a great easy hike shoe. I do wear them with arch inserts, like I do all of my shoes. There is plenty of room for the inserts. I particularly like the wide toe box. My toes are not squeezed.

I used to wear Merrill hiking shoes for years but I switched to another well known shoe and never liked them as much. I'm glad I switched back. So light, comfy with perfect padding, and waterproof. Like walking on a cloud and the width fits my bunion perfectly without pain. Definitely worth the money!

Great right out of the box. Soles seem to be showing less wear than Moab 2 which usually had sole wear more quickly for me. Will definitely enjoy these more miles.

These are so comfortable on me right out of box. I used to wear the higher version, but because of my Achilles tendinitis, I switched to the lower model and it really works for me. No uncomfortable pressure on the heel area. Great stability and grip and I've worn them in some pretty wet conditions and my feet stay dry. If I could change one thing about them, it would be that I wish they were a little cushier in the sole.

Merrell fits my wide foot well. Most other shoes don't as my heel isn't a wide. We walk daily in our damp N. CA climate. These waterproof shoes let me walk in the rain just fine.

These shoes are awesome!! I wore them straight out of the box, despite a painful Morton's neuroma, for 8 days of hiking through Iceland and walking over cobblestones in Amsterdam. I averaged 6-9 miles per day. They were very comfortable and kept my feet perfectly dry, through heavy downpours and many puddles. I bought a half-size up, to have room for wool socks with sock liners. I highly recommend these hiking shoes.
