Great boot
Wore a pair of Ll Bean Katahdin hikers for 10 years. Had two pair. Awesome boot never leaked even standing in water. These boots feel as good as those. I do bees wax my boots to preserve and improve water resistance. I wear boots from fall to spring from yard chores to ice fishing to spring turkey hunting. These were comfy out of the box and movement is not clunky but help you roll walking. Build is very similar to the Katarina but even better tread.

King of the Mountains
This has been my standard hiking boot for many, many years. I've purchased around a dozen pairs and I've never been disappointed. They always fit perfectly out of the box with minimal break in. Sierra granite, Utah sandstone and volcanic rock in the Cascades, these boots have always been up to the task. Lowa Renegades are the one piece of gear that I gladly share with every hiker looking for a well made everyday boot.

Lowa Renegade hiking boots
This is my fourth pair of Lowa Renegade Hiking boots. I continue to order the same size/width and have no concerns about not being able to try them on prior to purchase. As in every case, there is no break-in period...comfortable from day one.
Only reason why not a 5 star rate is that one of the boot laces has a worn spot; so I'll have to replace it soon.

Brand new, but boot liner was separated from the boot
I absolutely love these boots, but I had an issue with these boots I ordered where the boot liner was not properly glued to the boot so I am exchanging them.

Terriffic boots
These Lowa Renegade boots are very comfortable and run true to size. They are lightweight and provide great support all while being waterproof. These are replacing an old pair of Salomon hiking boots which have been really good boots. I expect these Lowa,s to preform and last just as good if not better.

Best boots ever
My first pair of hiking boots were purchased in 1963. They were Red Wings with the first available Vibram soles. These Lowa Renegades are, by far, the best boots that I have ever worn. Light weight, good support and comfortable. Could not ask for anything better.

Lowa is a good choice for serious outdoor activity
Second pair of Lowas, great boot. I have worn Red Wing, Danner, Solomon, Dunham Cloud Mid, and Keen for hiking. They are all good boots but I prefer Lowa. They do seem to run a half size small. Order a full size larger to accommodate thicker cold weather socks.
Sunny Sports offered a great price and fast free shipping, even during these times with inventory and shipping difficulties with European made products.

Good Boot But Tight Fit
Appears to be a well made boot with good traction. Only ding is I bought a wide width and the boots are tight in the toebox. Have less than 100 miles on them and they seem to be fitting better, hopefully they continue to break in. Would not recommend for someone with a wide foot.

Worthy Boot
So far so good. Bought these as a work boot. I clear brush and do yard maintenance for a living. Comfortable to wear and have lasted more than a month so far. Usually I blow out the cheap boots in a month. You DO need boot socks with these boots! First time I wore them on an 8 hour job with regular socks, the inner sole fabric was very uncomfortable. But with boot socks your golden.
