Hubby and i set it up in our living room as the snow is two ft deep outside. Counting the days until I set it up in Algonquin Park!

This tent was purchased with the intention of being a versatile, do-anything tent that could accommodate 2-3 people and I believe it achieves that function very well. At 6-7 lbs, it's not exactly a tent you would want to carry by yourself, but split between two or three, it would make a great backpacking tent. The packed size is small enough that it is also a great option if you need to pare down on space in the car as well. The space inside is enough that I would probably be comfortable squeezing three good friends in here but two is very comfortable.

This is a solid tent. By far the easiest to set up. If you're not familiar with setting up tents there are great videos explain how to set up the trail ridge series. Girlfriend and I had it up in about 5 minutes. Love this tent so far, pockets inside tent are awesome for storing our electronics, lights etc. highly recommend this tent.

Easy to set up. The instructions might as well not be included because they aren't complete and don't make the most sense. The tent, however, is very nice. Sets up quickly and easily. Very common sense set up and tear down. Warm for cooler nights, but can also vent for warmer nights where you want some breeze. Just enough bells and whistles to make this tent cool and useful. I would buy it again :)

I'm a huge fan of this tent. I bought it last summer for me and my fiancee--it's perfect. We can fit our double sleeping bag inside along with our backpacks. The vestibles are perfect for storing our storage bins and chairs to protect them from early morning dew. It is super easy to set up; even in the dark! I love the stargazing options that it provides as well.

The color coding, for set up is very nice. It was helpful having the video to refer to for first time setup though. I look forward to using this tent for many years.

Just spent two weeks backpacking and car camping in Colorado and Utah. This tent is high quality, with tight seams and smooth zippers. The 3 is roomy for two car camping, and light enough to carry moderate distances backpacking. This is a replacement to a 10 year old Kelty lightweight 6 person that my family of 5 back packed with through Alaska, California, Montana, Utah, Tennessee, Maine and most points between. Only replaced it because my 3 sons are grown and out on their own adventures and a 6 is too big. I absolutely LOVE the star gazing feature of the TR line. Was a deal maker for me.

The Trailridge tent is a backpacking tent through and through; every feature has been carefully designed to give you a comfortable living space while still being able to haul the entire thing in your pack. Near-vertical walls provide plenty of overhead space and on clear nights toss back the fly and just gaze up at the beautiful starry night sky. The tent has dual doors for easy entries and exits, and double vestibules provide lots of space for dirty packs and boots. Best of all, the Trail Ridge poles are shorter to make them more backpack friendly and the whole tent fits inside a handy roll-top cube storage bag. Stow the Trail Ridge in your pack and see where the trail takes you.
