I bought this for the large size and the features like the zippered pockets in the waist belt. The top lid comes off and can be used as a cross-body bag.

110 L is best back pack for Everest base camp. I really like it don't need to worry about compacting (tighting) so it can fit in the backpack if it is 85 or 75 L. Was recommended by my lukla porter. luklaporter blogspot

I bought one of these Kelty Red Cloud 110 packs from SunnySports in Ponderosa Pine for myself in 2016. And I just bought bought a second one in the new black color for my 19 year old son in May 2017. These packs are great. The volume lets me get everything inside the pack rather than having to strap stuff to the outside. The pockets, sleeping bag compartment, hydration sleeve, and detachable top / summit pack provide all the flexibility I need. And the Kelty "perfect fit" system makes it really easy to get a proper fit for a wide range of people in about 30 seconds. I've used the pack for a year now. My typical load varies from about 50 lbs solo to around 42 lbs if I'm hiking with someone else. With those weights, the pack is comfortable and puts the load on my hips where it's best handled. There are plenty of compression straps to keep everything snug and prevent shifting loads. It also seems to be durable. I've had no failures and the pack looks like new after a year. But I'm pretty careful about taking care of my stuff. As for looks, everyone was whining about the Ponderosa Pine green last year. I wasn't sure I'd like it from the photos online but once I received it, I really like the color. I ordered the black version for my son so we can quickly tell our packs apart. I thought the black would be the snazzier looking color but no, I still like my Ponderosa Pine green pack. If you're a larger guy, I think this is a great pack at a great price. The size let's you carry everything internally and not worry about obsessing over what you carry and how you pack. I looked at Kelty when I wanted to get back into backpacking because the Kelty brand has been around since I started backpacking in the 1970's. I can tell you they still deliver a great pack at a solid value. Highly recommended!

The pack came in the mail sooner than I expected. It came in great condition and was packed to perfection. This is a great pack I'm really happy with the quality and performance. I would definitely recommend this pack through this website.
