Love this tarp. Well built and very sturdy. This is the 3rd Kelty Tarp we have owned and they are all still going strong after many years.

This is one item I don't leave home without! I'm an avid camper and 4wd enthusiast. I've used this on kayaking trips, car camping trips for shade with our 3 kids, and rain cover fixing jeeps in the backcountry!!! I've had several other brands of tarps over the years, and this kelty one is priced right!! I have finally worn out the current brown one that I have and I'm about to get another noah 16. I also have the kelty poles that telescope to about 9' I think. They're great too. If you get the tarp get the poles. I also use 2 old 4' poles for some different tie down options to fit more people under the tarp. Sick product!!! Get one you won't regret it! Perfect for shade on hot days and staying dry in the wet season. - Max

I have 2 sixteen foot Noah's Tarps and they were awesome protection from the heavy coastal rain during spring break. I also bought 8 nine foot collapsible poles. With two of these tarps and the use of poles and trees combined, we were able to maintain a dry camp during the heaviest of rains. Love my new tarps! Dennis H

I use these tarps in many multi-day rafting expedition operations around the world. The newer design with the pocket corners is perfect as it allows the tarp to be erected with oars. It's light and compact and serves the job in protecting my groups from rain (or sun). They occasionally tear in high wind conditions but that is a trade-off for the light-weight nature of it. Overall, I think this one of the best tarps out there.

Shielding our 25' Airstream trailer's aluminum surface from the full sun is always a challenge. When unshielded you can have an oven but the Noah's Tarp 16 offers an excellent solution. Attached to the trailer and staked out the tarp reflected most of the sun, often channeled air into the trailer, and provided additional rain protection. Looking forward to finding other creative uses for the tarp.

The tarp doesn't come with poles and so we couldn't use it the first time we brought it out on a camping trip.

This is a trap we wish we would have purchased many years ago. The tarp is light weight and easy to use. I highly suggest having the poles as well since they allowed for some height options as well as water drainage. We fit a group of 7 of us under the tarp with some gear during one of the rainy days of our trip and it worked great!

Easy to put up and many configurations. So far 3 camping trips. One trip had massive amounts of rain. Works really well. Also purchased 4 adjustable poles. Great value.

Great there are lines already attached. And included. I did use large plastic tent stakes and added some additional lines. You need two poles to do the configuration shown . Poles are not included. This makes a great sun shade for a kids play area. Also nice to cover a hammock. Goes up fast and easy even with just one person.

I've had the 16x16 and 20x20 Kelty Tarps for 7 years now. Clearly they're the best tarps I've owned. They've never failed me despite being subjected to Arizona desert sun for several weeks, torrential downpours in Western PA & Cape Cod , and light snow in the Adirondacks I've never had a tie down rip out or tear, even under what I consider severe winds - 25mph continual, gusts to 55. A valuable technique we use is to attach bungies to the Tarp tiedowns, then attach the other end of the bungie to our anchor ropes. We use good quality paracord. This technique stays taught, but allows it to "accordion" and minimizing stress on tiedowns. Bottom Line - we think they're the best tarps out there.

I've used this tarp at least 10 times now. From the backyard to the mountains. On this last trip we had high wind and hail. The tarp held up beautifully and kept everyone dry. The one change I've made is to use a bigger more heavy duty stake.

I have had this tarp for 2 years and it is going strong. Took it too the BWCA for 5 nights held up to multiple wind gust of 50+ mph. Much more durable than I would have expected. Not a single tare or tie point has failed. This is a great trap for the money!

Went camping with a group and it poured hard for about 12 hours straight. My 10 year old and I slept in hammocks under Noah's tarps and we were the only ones dry when it finally stopped raining. We've used these for the last 3 years or so, camping every week. We get a year or two out of each tarp with careful use. That said, the 2020 model needs bigger loops. I can't get my finger through them to aid in getting a guy line started through.

This is a great shade sail. We have used it as intended and also tied it off to pop up tents of friends to extend our shade area. Both have worked great - even in really windy conditions. Looking forward to using this for sun/rain on multi day raft trips. Packs small and works great.

Intended to use as a second covering for a tent to keep a larger foot print dry and shady and it's perfect for that. Testing in my back yard for a few days now. On two and three poles depending on the wind speed. Since two ends have two tie downs and the other two only have one tie down, the latter ends just can't support the poles very well at high winds. I can. easily remove that pole and stake down that end to manage that until the winds subside. One neighbor saw me deploy it and asked where I got it. He says he could use it in the plains while they target shoot for cover and it would suit that case very well too. I'm very pleased and bought a smaller size for other uses.
