I'm obsessed and so is my toddler, which is saying a lot because she's sassy and has a lot to say about everything. Over the last weekend we did about 20 miles in Sedona in the carrier and both she and I were comfortable. It did take a couple adjustments to get her sitting and feeling right on my back, but once I got it right, we were good to go! Being a single mom, without a carrier, I wouldn't be able to get out, hike and explore like I love to do. This carrier gives us the freedom to go anywhere I can carry her.

Has been great, we've had enough room to bring along a camp stove to warm water up for milk and keep pushing on for our adventures. I'm a long torso 6'5" ex powerlifter, fitting packs is always difficult but this seems to be the best option for us. If there's a longer/taller version of the daddy saddle, I'd definitely buy it.

I recently received the Kelty Journey PerfectFIT Elite. My kiddo and I did one test run so far and it went great! Very impressed with the quality and attention to detail in the design. I do wish it came with a better set of setup/ use directions however overall this product is fantastic! Very excited for future adventures with the little one!

I have used this pack a bunch since buying it. I like the adjustability. The thiner shoulder straps don't bother me but I can see how someone who isn't use to carrying heavy loads often would get bothered. My almost 2 year old daughter loves taking hikes in this thing, she falls asleep every time.

This pack is awesome! It's probably my new favorite piece of gear. Walking around with my daughter in it is so much fun. Pack is so comfortable for her that she fell asleep for the last 30-40 min of the walk. The zippers are the only minor complaint I have. They feel like they might not last through any hard use.

Definitely recommend this pack. Bought the Journey PerfectFIT? Elite a year ago to prepare for living/traveling in Europe. It is perfect size to pack diaper bag contents, a DLSR camera with accessories, snacks, and drinks for a day trip. I carried my kid through small European shops (carefully given the pack size), palace/castle tours, trail hikes, caverns, the aquarium, zoo, etc. It has met every expectation for traveling parents. I have no significant critiques on the fit and construct. When packed correctly, it is balanced and comfortable. The hip straps and pockets are great, side handles are well-placed for putting the pack on, and the storage areas are well-designed. As for the little one, my kid loves it. He is completely content when traveling in the pack. It takes some effort to get legs through the harness but that seems inevitable with any carrier. The harness is very secure which is added peace of mind. An added benefit at crowded zoos and aquariums is your kid will be able to see over most other folks or you can pivot so they can see over railings/ledges without having to pick them up.

Wanted to take the time to thank Kelty for their innovative, quality gear. It seems like Kelty has improved upon this child carrier, compared with the current available options in the market right now. I debated between purchasing this carrier and another leading brand and model. In the end, there was major happiness exemplified when my friends opened their gift and did a test run with their 1 year old son. Their son loved the carrier so much that he cried when they tried to remove him from it. Which proved this is a worthwhile product. Looking forward to all the fun and adventures ahead, without a cumbersome stroller.

My daughter loved this. Super easy for me to use, had all the features I needed for two 5 mile hikes in the Pocono Mountains. I look forward to many many more hikes with this!

Our kid is still small, but it seems like the straps will be very comfortable as she gets heavier. I like all the adjustments and the built in sun shade. Would definitely recommend.

This is new and our baby is a bit small yet so we have not used it yet. However, it is well made, comfortable, well padded and has a lot of storage. It looks like a very high quality item

The first time we really used this was to go to the zoo. She was at the perfect height to see all of the animals, without me having to actually hold or carry her. Previously, we would have a stroller with a bag full of all her needed snacks, and I would still have to carry the bag and her so she could see everything. It made the outing so much easier and enjoyable. When we needed to, we could still take her out of the carrier so she could walk and explore!

Awesome time with this carrier and my 10mo old fish fishing. He was super happy to be outside and looking around and everything. Was able to keep lunch baby stuff and all my flyfishing things neat and tiddy. Pricey but well worth it with as often as i am on the river.

First time user of Kelly packs overall and this one did not disappoint. Surprisingly comfortable while lugging the kiddo through the woods of NE Wisconsin and trails in Door County. The weight is distributed evenly throughout shoulders/torso/hips. Room for his stuff and mine with plenty to spare for couple mile day hikes. Definitely recommend!

My kid loves this carrier. It has great seating support and position. It's easy to put on by myself with smart and useful compartments. My kid is asleep in the carrier half the time, but I'm never worried about their neck position.

This pack has all The features. Kelty always a good layout of compartments and useful zips and adjustments. To test it out, even my 5year old fit inside of the pack. This will be used for my 2 year old and pregnant wife this week in Montana. Very comfortable for all body types to wear.

So glad I got this for my son. He loves being outside but I always felt the experience was dulled when he was in the stroller. Now he is riding high and can see everything I can. We use it for everything from walks around the neighborhood to park or zoo visits. Honestly one of the best investments I have made for my son. I look forward to putting it to use many more times while he is still young.

I've been using an older Kelty journey for a while, unfortunately it lacked the extra storage space. Extremely happy that I upgraded to the newest option. Extremely comfortable and as usual very well made.

We?ve had a great time thus far with our Journey Perfectfit Elite! It?s so adjustable that my 6? 1? husband and me at 5? 4? can both wear it comfortably. Love love love the plastic lined pocket at the bottom for anything gross! Took our 15 lb 4 month old out the other day and it adjusted right to her and she did awesome in it! Would definitely recommend!

It?s a bit pricey and it takes some getting used to undoing and redoing the straps, but holy crap was this thing worth it. Our kid is a little heater so the Ergobaby-type options only made both of us overheat - especially if we were hiking/doing anything other than standing. Our kiddo is happy as a clam in this for as long as we need. No overheating, no fussiness. This pack is very comfortable, too. This anonymous stranger highly recommends buying it.
