I had a one night camping trip a few days ago and was pretty excited to take my tent to try it out; however the weather changed and well this is Texas weather. So that night I experienced thunder, lightening, rain, and 30-40mph winds. I was surprised the plastic clips held...it was a lot of wind and throughout the nights the winds changed direction, lifting the rainfly up with such force. All in all, this tent held. The only damage on the tent was that one section of the poles is bent. What an experience.

I have a backpacking trip with two of my brothers coming up this summer . I was searching for a lightweight, three person tent that was also affordable. The Discovery Trail 3 really met all of those needs. Haven't used it yet, but I sure like the looks of it

Kelty has always great products at an even better value. This tent is no exception. All the features you would want at a very affordable price. This is a perfect tent for car camping yet is still light enough to split the weight between two people for backpacking. Highly recommended!

We got this tent for a backpacking trip in the Uinta mountains. The tent is very well built and easy to assemble. We ended up sleeping through a very heavy rain storm on this trip, and woke up completely dry. I would recommend this tent for backpacking with two people. Maybe a bit heavy if you are going solo.

With the fly off, it's sleeping under the stars minus mosquitos! Fly on- it's protected from wet/windy weather. Super roomy for 2, but easy to set up by yourself. 3 pockets, aluminum poles (no more fiberglass splinters!), and light weight. By myself it was luxury sleeping! I sleep hot so this was dreamy, able to have half fly or any portion if needed. ***********

The tent was great. I got it for me and my great dane and there was enough room for both of us. I'm 5'7" and hes 6ft standing up and 150lbs. Enough Room for our bags and blankets.Tent did fantastic. It drizzled a little and did great. No water came in. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that one of the guy lines immediately broke when trying to put up the tent. We worked around it but it was kind of a bummer seeing how it's brand new.

This is a great lightweight tent that has a large footprint. I took out for the first time this weekend with my daughter and there was a TON of room inside. Now granted, she is only 5 and doesn?t take up much space but we were able to fit all the gear inside with lots of room to spare. Reason we had to bring it in was due to 2 huge Florida summer thunderstorms. Tent held up like a champ, not a single drop of water made it inside. It?s hot down here for summer camping but the open mesh build kept us as cool and comfy as one can get in 100% humidity. This is the quickest and easiest 1 person tent setup as well with these awesome pole holding sleeves. Nice job Kelty!

My granddaughter and i used the tent once, so far so good. It?s roomy and easy to set up. The weather was mild. The tent seems comfortable.

I took this tent in the Yosemite backcountry. It was a great fit for my two sons and I. It snowed on us and we were hit with wind. This tent held up very well in those conditions.
