Great Sleeping bag.

Received this as a gift and it is awesome. Would definitely have bought it. The two side flap blankets allow you to control your own warmth nicely. It doe. keep warmth well at lower temperatures, your ground insulation and tent/shelter style will affect this quite a bit too. So far have not been cold in it. It is spacious enough, sleeping bags are not know necessarily to be spacious in the first place so for one that allows two people comfortably it's nice.

Fun and comfy

Wife and I used it for the first time. Stayed warm both nights out and it was in the high 30s and rainy. Good amount of space. I'm 6'5" and had good length, didn't feel tight. Got warm over night and just pushed the blanket off. Cooled right down. Fit both are pillows nicely.

The layering system makes this double sleeping bag better than the rest!

A cold stormy night combined with this sleeping bag is a match made in heavy! I run a bit hotter than my wife so I let her burrito up in both the other blankets + the bag, while I slept incredibly comfortably and cool in just the bag itself. The extra blankets are perfect for when things drop under 40 degrees, but the bag itself is awesome even without them! 10/10 would recommend.

Luxurious outdoor bedding solution

The Tru.Comfort Doublewide 20 bag provides many useful features making it obvious that this product is made by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts. Each sleeper enjoys their own optional adjustments including the opening zippered toe box, individual top quilts, side zips on each side. The bag sleeps true to temp rating and the top pocket above the head keeps the pillow from slipping away at night and is wide enough to never feel mummied in. Ample leg room and comfortable material keep this as the bag of choice for every double-up camping adventure. Never discontinue this product because I'll need another if this one ever wears out.

Perfect sleeping bag for those seeking space

This double sleeping bag (Tru.Comfort Doublewide 20) is amazing. It is designed to accommodate two people or one person who likes the extra space. There are two zippers holding the top to the main bag. This is a genius design - you can unzip the sides if you need to cool down, you can also unzip the area around your feet if they get warm, or you can completely unzip it and us it as a blanket or just remove it. Inside the bag there are blankets sewn to each side - these provide extra insulation if needed and if you do not then they can just be pushed aside. It has the 'mummy' features around your head if you need to close it up during a cold night. The head of the bag also accommodates regular house pillows too... bonus!!!! I have the yellow (gold) color which is very nice and welcoming. The bag is quite large but remember you are essentially getting two sleeping bags in one. Perfect for car camping.

Perfect gear for couples!

Love the Doublewide! So many customization options with the zipper make it perfect for two people who might sleep at different personal temps. Plenty long enough for someone 6' tall. Only thing I'd like to see is a way to connect the two interior blankets (zip, Velcro, etc) to make one full-size blanket. Otherwise, the Doublewide is the perfect camping option for two!

I have recommended this bag to so many friends!

This was my first double-wide sleeping bag ownership experience, though many times I've zipped/mated together mine and my significant other's sleeping bags, but this Kelly is like going from a trailer to a mansion! Both my husband and I love this bag for car camping, we love the inside swaddling blanket that you can wrap and tuck into. It also doesn't draft in the center like two mated mummy bags do (always one cold shoulder!). I read a review recommending that you buy a 35 L dry stuff sack by Alps Mountaineering which works well for compressing down smaller than the basic loft sack. 10/10, nice weight, lots of features bag!

Winter-Lite Bush Bag

I was camping on a riverbed in Feb doing some landing site scouting for some spring fishing spots. This bag kept me warm even through a cold 18* night. The zipper foot area is a great design feature. Only complaint would be that I'm 6'2" and my feet stick out the bag a bit too much when the zipper is open and the pillow placement wasn't meant for really tall guys. The quality is there though and so it the warmth for the weight.

Not warm enough

This bag is comfortable and a good size for two people, but it's simply not warm enough. The rating at 20 actually shocks me. I've slept in it around 50-65 degrees and still been cold. That's not typical for me. I don't think the built-in extra blankets do anything to help the situation either, and they are really kind of just in the way/annoying. I don't have this issue with a single 20 degree bag. I think it's just this one. Temp rating should definitely be higher.

Warm & Cozy

I've taken this sleeping bag out twice, both times in a rooftop tent. The first time the low was in the 40s and the second time it was in the 20s. Both times, I slept very warm and cozy in just my wool base layers and fresh wool socks (pro tip: change your socks before you go to sleep for warm toes!). I love the inside blankets and haven't had any issue with them getting tangled and I roll over often in my sleep. I like that the extra fabric by your head holds your pillows in place and my 6'3" boyfriend can finally fit in a sleeping bag! I read a lot of reviews before buying this bag and I am happy with my purchase!

Best 2 person sleeping bag!!!

Here are some of the features I really appreciate: Head room holds a standard size pillow!! There are separate blankets and foot vents. And my favorite feature is each person being able to control their own temperature with the Comfort-Tuck Zipper System. The man is always cold and I'm always too hot so this is awesome!!!

Works wonderfully

Bought the Doublewide 20 a little while ago for sweetie and I, so far so good. It's wide, we both fit well in it with room to spare. I like the blanket inside the bag is handy on warmer nights too just sleep under that with the bag zipped open. I haven't yet used it in cold weather but I think with two people in it the bag is plenty warm for colder temps. Oh and the pillow pocket is pretty slick for keeping your pillow in place.

Well worth the money!

I bought the doublewide to use in our travel trailer on top of our full size mattress. The fit is perfect! We were tired of struggling to make the bed with traditional sheets and blankets. I opted to give this sleeping bag a try. My wife and I LOVE IT! She is a cold sleeper and I am a hot sleeper. No issues with this as I can open the zipper on my side to cool off if I get warm and she can stay toasty on her side. Having the ability to unzip at my feet is nice too. Sleeping bags in general are not very comfortable as I feel a bit claustrophobic, but this bag is roomy. We use regular sized pillows that fit neatly in the head area as well as a second pillow to wrap my arms around. Plenty of room with all that business. The fabric is soft and comfortable. I highly recommend the doublewide. It is worth every penny!

Just Awesome!

Wow, this bag is spectacular. Definitely not a backpacking bag, but great for just about anything else. The overall design is one of the best ideas I've seen in a "double wide" bag. Love the full zip off top, and the interior blanket/sheet portion. Plenty of room for both me and my wife. Warm, cozy and Kelty got the fabric right. Lots of bags feel plasticy without a layer of clothing on. This one feels very comfortable against the skin. Highly recommend as a shareable.

Cozy and Comfortable

I felt like I was sleeping in my on bed at home with sheets and comforter. Very soft feeling material, durable. We slept at 4200 ft el, early morning dip into the upper 40's and was completely comfortable regarding warmth. Forgot to turn the fan off as the prior day was warmer, so we stayed warm with a fan on low. Zippers functioned as they should with no issues. Looking forward to a solo version with the built in sheet. As far as size there was plenty of room for two people to move around well. It is a little difficult to get back in the stuff sack, but with two people it's not that bad. This is a product we really enjoyed.

Love this sleeping bag!

As the title says, I love this sleeping bag! It's kept us warm into the mid-20s, although solo it's probably comfortable in the mid-30s, just due to its enormous size. We sleep on an Exped MegaMat 10 sleeping pad for comfort and R-value. The size is the best part. I'm 6'5", too big for most bags to be comfortable, and we prefer to sleep together, not in separate bags, so our search was frustrating until we found this beast. I guess we've had it three or four years now, used it at least three nights a month in all four Texas seasons. It has worn well, with no issues whatsoever. I did knock of a star due to the included stuff sack. This bag's biggest strength is it's biggest weakness - it is huge. You absolutely must budget for an XXL compression sack unless you drive a box truck. We're using an Alps Mountaineering compression sack, the biggest they make, to reduce the pack size, especially because we use a fairly large tent (transported, not stored, in a compression sack) and the aforementioned Exped. Definitely not backpacking stuff. This is an extraordinarily good sleeping bag for big people, active sleepers, families with small children, cuddly camping dogs, or frequent camping couples who want a comfortable night's sleep.

Cozy, roomy, and warm!

I love this sleeping bag! Even with two people and two small dogs down at our feet there's plenty of room. Recently had this out on a 40 degree night and it kept us toasty the whole time.

Looks to be an awesome bag

We've not had a chance to use it yet but we've been looking for a new double sleeping bag that'll pack down smaller and is lighter than our current one. Don't get me wrong this is still pretty good size when in it's stuff sack and with a compressible you might be able to get it a bit smaller, but it does pack down smaller and is quite a bit smaller than our current cotton/canvas outer shelled double sleeping bag. This seems to be very well built and we both fit in with room to spare. We are 5'5" and 5'7", average weight and feet are not near the end and we have room to move around in the bag. We love the hood that'll help keep our pillows in the bag but this hood doesn't have any sort of draw cord to synch up on cooler nights and isn't something that'll pull up around your head on cold nights, it's just kind of big and floppy and the opening is big. If you're claustrophobic you won't have an issue with this hood. We also like the idea of the internal individual blankets, we'll see how they work with use, we also bought the Kelty Galactic blanket for those colder nights in the mountains and it fits inside perfectly. Overall I think we're going to love this bag, and like most other Kelty products we've had, will last forever.

Solid bag

First time we used it, it was a 40 degree night, mostly stayed warm, except around the head and neck. Would have loved a sinch tie on the hood. Solid bag overall.

Sleeping bag or cozy bed?

By Beth

Honestly the coziest sleeping bag I own. Plenty of room for me, my boyfriend, and our pups. He’s 6’ and had plenty of space. He gets claustrophobic in sleeping bags and loves that he can unzip his side while I can stay nice and warm. He also likes that attached blankets on each side so I can’t steal all the covers! We used it in about 50-60 degrees and it was so warm. I don’t like to camp much colder than that but I’m sure it would be great! It’s so comfy and feels just like a bed.

Awesome

By Rich

Havent used it yet but am pumped to take it on trip with my girlfriend. Only complaint is that it took up all the main part of an 80L pack so will be on the hunt for a compression sack for it
