Worked at the Rating.

To test the temp rating of this bag I set up camp (kelty tanglewood 2) on an evening that was supposed to get down to 45 degrees. Used this in conjunction with a sleeping pad with an r-value of 3, also had a thin ozark trail bag liner to help keep the interior clean, very little chance the liner helped with warmth. As for sleepwear I wore a pair of thin nylon pants, t-shirt and a thin sweatshirt. The temperature dropped down to 37 degrees that evening, and I was still comfortable. Not toasty warm but not chilly either. This bag just fits length wise and I'm 6 foot, width wise I had plenty of room and I'm 175 pounds. In its stuff sack it fits length wise in my 65liter quest backpack. Its a little heavy but for the price its to be expected. All in all, the bag did what it said it would and this being the second Kelty product I've purchase and pleased with both I wouldn't hesitate to buy more.

Great for backpacking!

Packs down well, lightweight, kept me warm all night in 50-60 degree weather in hammock by a creek. Very cozy, zippers work well. Overall, pleased.
