Adjustable Pole
Great item. I plan to use it to help support my 10 foot rain fly when I go canoeing/camping and for Dog Conformation shows where I have to set up grooming outdoors when I can't get an indoor grooming spot.

Kelty Tarp Adjustable Poles
These poles are great if you need a tall strong somewhat adjustable pole for your tarp. Pole height adjusts from 6'8" to 8.3" inches. I use four of these poles for deploying the tarp high on all four corners. I have complemented them with a pair of green elephant poles for when I want to drop the corners to 3' in inclement weather.

Those are burley poles
They worked great, albeit a bit tall for the task. Compact for our river trip. I don't regret the purchase and look forward to using them again.

Good so far.
Well it got here fine. I still expect it to perform well. If I can I;ll let you know when I get a chance to use it. The overall process was fine, delivered promptly and packed well. communication has been good.

Adjustable tarp pole
I haven't had a chance to use the this pole yet, however I am a little disappointed in lessening of quality from the previous pole of the same item number. The first one I bought from factory outdoor in Glenwood Springs Co. It was made in Vietnam and very well constructed. They only had one so I ordered another of same part/item number directly from Kelty's website. The second one, though same color and dimensions seems of much lighter and perhaps flimsier material and the reference line is only half painted on where the original was was an index mark formed full length in the whole bottom section which made line up of the spring button easier. The second one is made in China though the item number is the same. I wish they would have stuck with the original manufacturer as it was a better pole;)

Will update when I've used with 6x9 Noah's Tarp; they're definitely robust enough for this set-up and larger. Really well built and the spring mechanism to adjust height is simple and slick (they ARE new....). Will be able to use/pair with other tarping/shelter configs too.

Worth the high price.
I have a pair of these and the have stood up to winds that bent ALL my friends comparable looking but cost less poles. They weigh nearly twice that of other aluminum multisection adjustable poles and 7001 aluminum is very strong. After my last trip, my "bent pole" friends are saving up to buy these. Buy cheap ones if you just need shade on a calm day. Buy these if you want them to last. (find them on sale for less)

Used these poles with a friend and loved them so much had to buy my own. They are sturdy and easy to use. Note, however, this sunnysports website lists them as weighing 8 ounces each, when they are actually "one pound, 8 ounces" each.

Great Service and Quality Item!
Sunny Sports had the best price for this item. The poles themselves are good quality and seem strong and rigid. There shouldn't be much flex in them at all. Overall I am satisfied.
