I used this for my freshman year in high school and it was pretty good but the bottom broke near the end of the year. I would recommend if you don't have a lot to put in your bag and are more gentle with it.

I like the look and design of my pack. We'll see if it lasts as long as my last one, over two decades, but the Cordura makes it likely. Only disappointment is that it's no longer made in the USA.

I've had this backpack for 34 years now. They still replaced the main zipper, installed zipper pulls and ordered a buckle for it! Amazing customer service and very nice people to deal with! These bags last FOREVER!

I don't generally leave reviews, but this backpack and the service I've received have been amazing! I've had my backpack for 25 years and the only repairs needed were zippers. I mailed my backpack on May 9 and I already have it back in my hands on May 24! While I only requested that the main compartment zipper be repaired, the technician must have found a problem with the pocket zipper and replaced that one too. What great attention to detail! This warranty and follow through is unheard of anywhere else. Thank you so much! I recommend this product to anyone needing a reliable backpack and wanting a warranty they can count on.

I like it, both beautiful & lots of pockets I don't like that the straps are very stiff. They will probably soften over time, but until then a little painful if you have sensory issues.

Was first introduced to Jansport in the 90's. In 2024 I returned to college and the first place I reached to was to order another Jansport bag- this time to carry my laptop, textbook and supplies. The bag with the suede bottom is essentially unchanged- with the addition of the laptop sleeve and a white interior. I think the pack is slightly smaller now with lighter, hopefully an improved fabric- but it's getting the job done where other packs I've used have been too large, heavy, or bulky. This one is perfect. I expect to get years out of this bag, and just as easily and trouble free as my first. Well done Jansport, well done!

I purchased this backpack for my college-age son. It looks great, he loves the color and design, and it allows him to comfortably carry his books and laptop. It's a great buy!

I started using this product when I was a teenager going on weekend hikes. I continued to use it in college as an easy way to carry all my books.It has served me well over the years. Now, I use it to carry all the becessities for my grandkids. This model has evolved over the years in a positive way to include a laptop sleeve etc.I gave them as presents over the years and all the recipients are happy with them. I have one negative comment. The top strap is difficult to carry. It should be wrapped in leather or other material. Finally, has this pack shrunk. I would swear that it used to be a bit over 1800 Ci. Now, 1709. I rthink that is a mistake. Please don't cut the space.

Every day use. My last Jansport backpack lasted about 20 years - every day use and world traveler. I would never buy another brand. Thank you for your company commitment to make a great product.

I purchased the predecessor to this project nearly 20 years ago and have been very pleased with it. I have used it while traveling for business and leisure. I also have used it to carry clothes to the gym and on photo shoots. It wasn't quite ready to be replaced but I thought I would treat myself. The current purchase comes up short in size, number of pockets, lining and what I believe to be overall durability. It is still a good product, just not the exceptional one that I purchased years ago. Too bad.

I have been looking for a dark green backpack for a while and I finally found this color on Urban Outfitters last Friday, 10/06/2023. I like the color and the design, it is great fit for everyday uses. However, if the backpack add one more compartment on the top like the Vans Startle look, it will be perfect. I gave up buying Vans Startle Backpack because they don't have the dark green color.

I'm a 35 year old man child. I'd describe myself as funny, handsome and uncool. I've had the same JanSport backpack since 8th grade and lately it's just sad and dirty. When looking at replacements it was a no brainer to go with the Right Pack in Deep Juniper bc it's a timeless classic that basically says I'm fun, classic and reliable!

Excellent customer service and the best warranty ever. My Jansport was a 20 year old veteran and finally gave out and the warranty covered it and provided me with a new bag! Can't beat that. Customer for life.

I used the backpack for school i carry my laptop and it works very well for college, the quality of the material is good, but after a while it tends to weigh my shoulders down quite a bit.

My 6th grader likes this backpack. He likes the compartments and how roomy the bag is. The color and quality is also nice. His only complaint it's the straps are hard and not comfortable.

Side water bottle pocket has been improved since the backpacks from a few years ago. Yay!! Backpack is also sturdy enough to carry around a HUGE load of books. :)

This was the only bag my daughter wanted for back to school, I knew it was not worth the $70 they were asking, so I waited for a discount and paid around $59. The quality is good, but definitely not worth the $59 I paid. I do however like the material and internal laptop pocket and the corduroy fabric. If you do end up ordering this bag, double check the leather pulls before use. The person in quality control surly did not and we lost two pulls the first day of school. I did not think it would be a big deal to replace these pulls, but Jansport's ridiculous warranty policy requires me to send the entire bag back, and wait 4 weeks to get it fixed/replaced. All while my daughter would not have a bag for school. It seems way more cost effective to just send the tiny pulls, rather then pay shipping both ways for the bag and be bag less?. But what do I know! -annoyed mom
