Had to replace a standard plastic top for one of my stainless steel Hydroflask (dropped it); decided to replace all the plastic tops with stainless steel tops. Seal is much tighter and, while it might dent, it won't break.

I only use it for cold water so far. After leaving in my car for 5 hours in the hot sun, the bottle was warm and the water was still ice cold. Unbelievable
