Hydro Flask Straw Lid

I've had my hydroflask water bottle for almost 10 years. It was time to replace the lid, and this one works great! The finger hole is handy, and the mouth piece is comfortable, although as others have stated, it does show teeth marks quickly. It comes with two straws, and fits the water bottle I have perfectly. The thing that most impressed me was the packaging: very efficient, minimal, and environmentally friendly- all recyclable and with a little ruler printed in the side to make it super easy to cut the straws to whatever size water bottle you need to fit. I can't speak to longevity yet, but using it daily for the past month it has held up well. I am happy with this purchase.

I personally liked the softer rubber end to the straw, didn?t hurt my teeth when trying to drive, walk or hike and bump my teeth on it. I miss the graphic logo and the option for the grey lid.

The lid works well for the most part, but the straws that came with it melted in the dishwasher within one week of purchase. There were no directions not to put them in the dishwasher, and I figured my other straws had no issues, so I was disappointed when this happened. Luckily, I have a few spares so I was able to use those. Like others have mentioned, the plastic part somehow is already peeling from bite (?) marks. I don?t bite down on the lid but it peels and flakes rather easily with not a lot of wear and tear. Lastly, I bought this 10 months ago and it already broke. The white plastic stopper piece that goes underneath the lid to protect it from leaking somehow fell off so if I don?t keep my bottle upright, the water seeps through the lid everywhere. I thought hydroflask lids were made to last but apparently not. Overall, it works well but don?t expect this to last long. It hasn?t been a year, and I?m already looking for a replacement, and it won?t be this one!

The little gasket that stops the cap from leaking dislodged, where can it be replaced? I do not use a straw and sip form the cap, now water is leaking all over me. I do not want to buy a new cap because the point of having this bottle is to reduce my footprint.

I have never bought this item but, I have a 20 ounce hydro flask and I want the the lid the straw one, but idk if it'll fit because it says fits all wide mouth but my lid is bigger than the 21 ounce but like I'm just confused if someone knows can someone add me on snap and tell me my username is ilspura.

I am very happy with the straw lid! Easy use and cleaning AND...bcuz I'm not opening the lid all the time, i find my cold drinks stay cold even longer than the sipping lid!

Just got one today. Actually works better than I expected - more comfortable and handles well (nice finger loop and straw flippy thing). Had to cut straw to length of my 16oz flask.

After accidentally driving my 40oz off the back of my car (made it three blocks before viciously whipping off into the road, some mom made her kid get out and run after it lol?), I was using a free off brand straw lid as a replacement before it dawned on me that the piece of trash was causing mad issues. I drink a lot of water and you rarely see me without my flask within a 3ft radius of my being. Anyways I?ve basically been chugging 2:1 air to water for months and have had a dry af throat because of it, until today when I went to get a new air tight sucker. Long story long this product is 100/10. If you suffer from a dry throat this straw lid will quench you like you?ve never been quenched before. I?ll never cheat on you again hydroflask. :*)

This has been the best thing for me. I used to struggle to get my water needs daily. This straw lid has been the difference. I love the accessibility. I know this will be a key to helping me drop these 100lbs!!!!

Years ago I bought some wide mouth straw lids from my local REI. That design had a silicone (?) coating which makes it much more comfortable to drink out of than this current design. During this year's Black Friday / Cyber Monday sale, I decided to stock up on all the items I've been wanting which included more of these wide mouth straw lids. The current description states it has a durable rubber coating to help stave off damage from biting but it's also rock hard. I didn't even consider Hydro Flask would change the design in this way so I just added a few to my cart and paid for my order. Now that my shipment has arrived, I can't help but be disappointed. I'm not going to send them back because I still need them but now I'm hoping a third-party retailer will have something I can fit onto the spout for my comfort. I use at least one Hydro Flask product every single day. It saddens me to know my favorite reusable bottle brand made this completely unnecessary (to me) change.

I purchased awhile ago with the bottle. The cap has been replaced twice. The bottle is great but the caps will cost as much as the bottle when your done purchasing all you need.

I bought this several weeks ago?the trail series bottle is wonderful! I bought the lid with straw with high hopes of loving it. Sadly, it leaks terribly, even after tightening the lid over and over again. Maybe I just got a bad one?love all the other hydro flask products!

I bought this recently to help with overnight nursing where I need to drink a ton of water. I love my hydro flask bottle but the screw top is not convenient when you have a baby in your arms. The straw has been a game changer and allows me to drink a lot more water than I had been. It works perfectly and is easy to clean. I was going to get a cheaper straw on amazon but read a review that said this one was so much better so I decided to spend a little more. So glad I did!

My wife bought me a no name brand lid with straw from amazon, it was ok and it served it's purpose well, but I ordered the authentic lid and wow what a difference. I didn't realize the flow is way better than the no name brand.

Nothing wrong with it I'm just confused because it doesn't fit my 32oz wide-lid bottle, like the straw is too long. I thought it would fit every 32oz bottle (I have the twist off wide mouth lid and wanted something a little easier to drink under a mask at work) but it doesn't. I wonder if they updated the bottle or something.

This straw lid is nice. Easy to use and since there is a straw I don't have to tip it over to drink. I have had mine for quite a while now almost a year. Somethings are worn but it's still resilient. Great for drinks in the middle of the night. That aside, a wide mouth straw lid does not mean a wide straw is used. I work outside now, in the heat and I have always been a camel. With this straw lid, I fight to drink vigorously in order to obtain enough water that will last longer then 20 minutes of hydration. The straw combined with a small air hole (to help equalize the pressure inside the flask from the missing liquid) is too small, smaller then a toothpick. From the excessive use the mouth gasket has worn down enough that when I suck on the mouth piece I get bubbles to drink from the unequal pressure, unless I push done on the mouth piece and up on the flask to apply enough force and seal the gap. Another example (comparing it to the standard lid) the straw lid leaks from the straw/mouth piece gasket. Road trips with different elevations will cause it to leak and perform squirt gun affects. Even driving to work, 10 minutes away, if it lays flat and closed the liquid will leak out, like a dripping faucet.

My boyfriend and I have had our Hydroflask bottles for around 3 years now and have loved this lid, but now both of our lids leak (and have for some time - just getting around to replacing now.) So this lid was great for a couple years, then needs to be replaced.

I purchased this lid about 4 months ago to go on my favorite bottle. It works great except when I drink from the straw lid, it makes the most obnoxious hissing sound. It?s like water is stuck somewhere and no matter how much I clean and dry it, it will not stop. I have scoured the web searching for answers but I can not seem to fix this issue. So sad that this lid has this problem.

I love this lid! Drinking in the car with this lid is so much easier and prevents water from potentially spilling all over your face. It's easy to clean and I appreciate the fact that it comes with two straws.

I want to buy a lid like this for my flask because the cap you twist off you get spills all down your top. The only problem I am finding is that I want a straw type, but I need a handle. I am handicapped and I need to hang this on my wheelchair. I carry this all day and I have it by my bed all night so that I always have water. Please consider my request. I know lots of people in my situation who need continued access to water with a convenient lid.

CAUTION: DO NOT TAKE MOUTHPIECE OFF TO CLEAN OR IT WILL NOT WORK RIGHT AGAIN! When I bought the Hydroflask, I also bought this straw lid. It was GREAT and useful until I took off the mouthpiece and now it WILL NOT "suck" correctly and I even tried watching videos on how to fix it, nothing works. Each time I drink it makes a sound, indicating the seal isn't sealed, but there's no way to fix it...I've tried for a whole day almost!!

I bought the 32oz that came with this lid top. I recently took of the mouth piece to clean it, and ever since putting it back in I have had trouble sucking up any water. it is all air. I am very troubled as to how this happened, it worked great before I tried to clean it.

I’ve had my straw lid for about 5 months now and it’s great. It works as expected EXCEPT I find that it doesn’t keep my drink cold as long as the screw on lid does. It keeps it cold, but I find the ice melts a little faster. That’s just me though

I bought 2 Hydros, 32 & a 40oz, both with the wide mouth straw and lid. The 40 oz one is hard to open(lift) the 32oz is so smooth and easy to the point where I don't even like to use the 40 cause of the trouble. And I don't want to purchase one separately just cause this one came defected. Other than that I love it, keeps my water cold this Texas heat even when I leave it in the car to run some errands.

I’ve had this for a while, and I have always had the same problem. When i leave it alone for a long period of time, there is water collected on the top, and the water goes everywhere! This isn’t leak proof.
