Works and functions well - I like the wide opening. The only thing I don't like is the lid color doesn't match the color of the body.

I bought a food thermos a year ago from Hydroflask and was impressed. Decided recently to buy several more items and they all have been of great quality, beyond expectations. Use at home in kitchen, in my car and plan to use camping.

I put some boil soup into the jar and about 4 hours later it was still hot-ish, but about 10-15 degrees cooler. You can tell the heat did escape because you can feel the heat on the lid and edges. So this works for lunch or something you want to keep hot-ish for a few hours. Probably wouldn't be great for camping or keepings something hot for more than 6-7hours. For the price, the performance is really lacking.

The thermos is soooo pretty however my good doesn't stay hot. I think a triple walled stainless would help instead of the double that the thermos currently has. Sadly, I also have the same experience with the other items I purchased.

It's great how food stays warm till lunchtime and kids can enjoy it. My 7 yrs old uses 20 oz food jar and so far she is really happy with it.I own one 20 oz and two 28 oz. Please hydro flask team make bumpers for food jar. It's must for little kids.

This is the perfect size food jar for a hearty serving of soup and allows enough extra space to add a handful of greens or some rice or pasta to bone broth, if one desires. It keeps food hot for several hours. I'm excited for the cooler Autumn weather to take my food jar out and about with me to kids' sporting events or a cooler evening outside.

I have several Hydro Flask products and can't say much negative about any of them. We had a food jar's lid separate into pieces (insulated portion and outer layer came apart). I opted to take advantage of the warrant as I didn't want to have future issues with the product, especially concerning potential mold making it's way between the layers if I attempted to repair the issue myself. The warrant process was painful (it took well over a month and a half of emailing and returning the damaged item (paying for shipping myself) before finally receiving the replacement. I've only used the item a couple times and feel the newer food jar does not retain the heat like my old one...very disappointing. I do; however, like that the item is a little wider allowing me to more easily eat soups and other spoon type foods.

Ive been using a plastic Tupperware for Yogurt and granola for lunch for 8 years... Packing it in a lunch box cooler with an ice pack every day... This insulated jar has changed the game and now all i need is it! No ice pack and no lunch cooler. Big stoke

Totally different shape which I wasn't crazy about but works way better than the 2018 food flask 18 oz. Food stays hot and the lid doesn't get stuck because of the suction from the inside. Easier to eat and wash. Really appreciate the lifetime warranty and prompt response of the company.
