New to Garmin and bought my first watch f?nix® 7 Pro - Sapphire Solar Edition. Did not know what to expect after using an apple watch for years. Made the switch and the Fenix has provided me everything and more. It took a little bit to get used to, but once I figured it out, its an easier device to use than the apple watch. This device has told me a lot more about myself that the apple watch didn't. It provides a lot of data that I find useful as I train. This watch is bulkier than the apple watches but has been durable as I am a wreck less person and bump my wrist on everything. I have enjoyed my purchase and would take the fenix over the apple watch I had any day. Next hope is Garmin makes a fenix that is dive compatible next.

Fantastic watch! User friendly, reliable, and most of all comfortable. Personal use, local park runs to Ironmans and everything in between.

This would get a 5 star but I'm transitioning from Apple Watch to this but I don't like how it doesn't sync up all the way with rings, only a few stats per YouTube with the Apple Health app. So, I'd ruin my 4 year streak on Rings if I transitioned all the way to my Garmin Fenix 7 Pro. But, so far loving all the stats compared the my Apple Watch.

I have my feniz 7 pro for about two weeks now and I am constantly referring to it for information. It is a great health benefit. My only complaint and this is a minor one, I wish the screen was a little brighter. After wearing this watch I can no longer wear my Rolex. In today's world a watch has to do more than tell time.

I didn't think it would be much of an upgrade over my Apple Watch , but the fenix 7 pro has changed my life. I should have bought way sooner. It's totally worth it!

I've had the Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire for a couple week. It is a really nice watch. Only thing I would say that I wish that was better is the solar charging. I've charged it twice. Once when I got it and then a week later. Most of my day is spent in office so I should not complain about the charging. I know I can put it battery save mode but that defeats the purpose of why I bought it.

I have had it for about three weeks and am making the adjustment from the Fenix 5. Many more features and much better battery.

I bought it about a month ago. I've been a Garmin fan forever! I'm a MIP guy too. I love seeing the display always lit! I was an Apple Watch user and didn't like it at all. I do wish that the Fenix 7 Pro Solar Sapphire had more battery life - oh well, onward.

I just got back to my feet a d cant wait for Fenix 8. But cant resisted the discounts. I've Been running non stop in the last 2 weeks and this watch helps me to track my pace/distance and gave me an upscale training each week before my race this weekend.

Bezel scratches easily, charging port is finicky, reached out to Garmin customer service and they sent a replacement charging cable, didn't resolve issue, I believe the charging port on the watch is not making good contact with cable ports. I have had 4 other Garmin watches and they operated pretty flawlessly throughout the years, considering selling my watch and going with another product.

This is my first smart watch and I am very happy with the fenix 7 Pro. The battery life is very good for my routines. I use the GPS a few days a week and have used for several 10+ mile hikes. The solar does help offset GPS use. The watch has held up well to daily use and abuse. There is not a single scratch on the glass and the bezel looks great as well. I recommend this watch to friends looking for a watch that doesn't require constant charging, is durable, and looks good at the same time.

In addition to incredible advanced features, this equipment easily runs for more than week between charging and charges in a few hours. No more charging every day! I have l ready ordered accessories from Garmin that will add to the functionality of this system. Well designed and impressively functional!

Have a bachelors in Kinesiology and appreciate how much information Garmin gives analysis to normal user. Had Apple Watches and even the ultra and got so annoyed by their battery life and limited health and sport related information such as recovery, HRV , sleep and etc. yes apple have sleep but it's very late and it gives your sleep report 30 min - 60 min after you have woken up. Even had whoop and it is very limited compared to Garmin and you cannot connect to heart rate sensor for best accuracy. Not to mention map which is miles above any other wearable . Warranty and customer service is amazing. Most importantly , you can wear for years and not see much difference and any Garmin above is 245 is over kill for most average users but even for me fenix 7 pro sapphire solar is over kill. I always buy the best because of its resale value . I like the epix line but I know from previous experience with Apple the amoled always ages faster than MIP.

I bought this watch to replace my Garmin Forerunner 935. This is probably my 5th or 6th Garmin watch and I bought it to be my main daily wearing and fitness watch. So far I really like it as it has additional features that the 935 didn't have. The battery lasts a long time so I don't need to charge it very often. The only thing that is different is they include a cord with a USB c connector which charges slower than the standard USB the cords use to have.

I had a Garmin Forerunner 235 years ago, I loved it but was drawn into the I watch. While the I watch was simple to use and paired easily with all phone applications, the durability was not there. The buttons on the I watch got stuck and would constantly call 911 even after the feature was disabled. I had to replace the I watch on average once a year, even though I had the extended care from Apple it was still 70 dollars per incident, plus the cost of the extended care$$$$ so it definitely added up, not to mention the time it spent to make an appointment, customer service calls, sending the watch back, waiting for it to be shipped all time I could have been using my watch to train. The Fenix is beautiful, rugged and paired easily with my phone. I love the information the Fenix provides on sleep, stress, training readiness . I am very happy with the fenix and would recommend it and other Garmin products to my friends and family.

I've had the Fenix Pro sapphire for over 6 months now, this probably my 5th to 6th garmin watch, previous fenix was a five+. I'll divide the review into 2 parts. 1st: 5 out of 5 stars. Fenix pro sapphire, watch & internals. This was a significant enough upgrade from my fenix five+. I really like the additional features of the watch. The new HR sensor works better than any previous version. As long as you have the band tight enough, the hr readings seem to be spot on. The only time I don't wear it and use a polar arm strap is when doing kettlebell exercises that would smash into. The flashlight is surprisingly handy feature that I find many uses for. The rest of the upgraded features in the fenix 7 line all work well. 2nd: 2 out of 5 stars. Fog Gray/Ember Orange Band. While itself, the gray/orange colorway is good, but it is the ONLY option. Any other band will clash with the fog gray case. I have several colors from the old fenix 5 including the Italian Vacchetta leather strap and they all look terrible. The pictures garmin list with the product don't do it justice, most are top down showing the titanium ring. With my previous fenix 5+, I could dress it up or down depending on what I wanted to do with it. Not so with this. If I were to do it again, I might get the same in the carbon gray/titanium. Garmin I recommend offering an all titanium looking case as it's more versatile with different bands.

The watch is incredibly reliable, durable and accurate. Use it for running, rucking, and CrossFit. The battery life is ridiculously great. Love the flashlight and use it almost daily. The solar is a bit of a gimmick and I wish a non-solar sapphire model was offered. The solar ring is distracting when looking at the screen and impedes some of the readability of the screen when indoors and requires using the backlight to use indoors.

Good adventure/activity watch. much better battery than my apple watch. the solar claim is misleading. I was worried it wasn't working correctly after I left it in the sun for 5 hours to see how it would charge and it didn't charge at all. I checked with customer service. They told me that the surface space wasn't large enough to charge the watch, but that it may help keep the battery from draining as quickly as it might with no solar. ??? It "may" help it. There are a lot of larger watches like this that fully charge with solar when in the sun so I am kind of disgruntled.

Works great as expected coming off Fenix 5s and most recently 6s. The sapphire crystal is must. My last two Fenix's had it and the crystal always looked brilliant. I'm getting used to the 47mm case size. The larger display is great and will be really appreciated when I strap it to my eMTB handle bar. The new features rest, flashlight, touch screen, solar, at a glance, and ECG are appreciated and practical. I have always appreciated the battery life of these device. I can't imagine charging daily, especially during sleep which for me is some of the most vital information from the device. Overall, excellent product, well designed, rugged, practical and reliable. Well done Garmin, looking forward to your next migration of these devices.

I bought this fenix 7 and the forerunner 265 at the same time. I liked both for different reasons. This is the only one I have been wearing because of everything it does and how it feels to wear. Whenever I take it off I always find myself eager to put it back on. So many features I didn't think I would use, yet find myself on a daily if not hourly basis using them. Overall I'd say it is well worth the price for the features. The only downside I'd say is the titanium bezel is scrated VERY easily and there is no replacement for it. That part of the watch looks like I've had it for a year, not less than a month.

I own a fenix 6 Pro and bought the fenix 7 Pro for the looks. I was unaware of the touch screen which I love as well as the flashlight feature which I also use. With the Sapphire along with the silver Bezel it is just dressier. I continue to be disappointed with the ease in which the bezel is scratched. This was worse with the fenix 6 because it was black. I was also told by Garmin they could not fix this problem. I guess these watches aren't meant to wear regardless of activities.
