I recently bought the Epix 2 about a month ago, this has been my second Garmin watch. What drew me to the Epix was its sophisticated and classic look. The watch has performed great as an everyday day time piece and has some wonderful features. After trying several other smart watches, none of which lasted as long as my first garmin, I came back to the Garmin family and have been extremely satisfied and impressed with the quality of this watch. I highly recommend.

I have been wearing my Garmin Epix gen 2 since Christmas 2022. It is a good fitness tracker, but not smart watch. It serves the purpose well. The only issue is I don't get chance to wear my other watches.

Watch is loaded with features! I love the 14+ day battery life! My old watch needed charged almost every day. Everything seems to function as advertised. If I have one complaint it's that the stair counter works by changes in altitude rather than by accelerometer. Seems To miss entire flights inside the gym. Very pleased overall with the purchase.

The epix2 has so many data options! Still figuring it out and trying not to lock it up again and lose a few hours worth of key metrics.

Overall, love the watch. Generally speaking, Garmin has a great format with all the data you want. The connection with my phone is not always reliable, however. And, the way Garmin calculates calories makes no sense. I'll do a workout and the stats will show my active calories burned in the workout. However, the active calories in the workout are never included in the daily total calorie burn on Garmin Connect. I've contacted Garmin several times for an explanation and have yet to receive one that makes any sense.

I had looked at the Epix and read / watched reviews for 7 months before I pulled the trigger and I must say it is mostly a great watch with great features. The biggest feature that drew me to the Epix was the advertised battery life combined with the Amoled display of 6 days in always on mode. But having had the watch for over 2 months now the only time I ever got to 6 days was with the display off where it should get to 13 days. Settings are pretty much factory and my workouts barely ever get to 1 hour per day. I have been trying different settings for several weeks now to no avail.

Does everything I wanted from my Apple Watch AND I do not need to charge it every day or push a button to tell it I'm jumping in the pool!

I've been using this for about a month now and it is very good. Battery lasts about 2 weeks with normal use and workouts.

I've had the Epix for about a month now (used to have a Fenix 5). Love the quick access to the weather, training matrix steps, heart rate sleep score, HRV status, music controls (which I really like) and a few other stats. Battery life is really good but I do not use it for navigation. I was hoping that the bluetooth technology would have gotten better since the Fenix 5 but it has not. The Epix disconnects from my phone when the watch is on my wrist and my phone is in my back pocket. RIDICULOUS! Overall, I do like the Epix and can't wait to use it more, like on a hike.

I purchased this watch to upgrade my Garmin Forerunner 955 solar as I wanted the maps for hiking and backpacking. I read and watched a lot of reviews before making my decision. I was worried about the battery life on the epix (Gen 2) but I didn't need to worry. I don't use always on display and I can, at times, easily get 10 days of battery life. This includes following a course and using gps as well as recording workouts almost daily. When I'm out on backpacking trips I might need to bring my charger but with the added benefit of maps I don't mind. Really happy with my decision to get this watch.

The Epic is my 3rd Garmin. I also have the Forunner 745. I love both watches. I use the 745 for races as it is a smaller/lighter watch. Love all the features the Epic has and that the battery last much longer.

I have had this watch for more than a year now and have not been nice to it at all, yet it doesn't have any scratches or knocks or anything. The battery life is incredible, I can do a triathlon and not charge it for an another week and will still have battery left. If you aren't sure about this watch, stop thinking about it and go get it. It takes some serious abuse and has data on everything.

This watch is rugged and surprisingly light for its size. I changed the band to a nylon hook and loop style and sleep with it on every night. I barely even notice it.

Battery life WAY better. Adding color really helps visibility. Tracking heart rate, especially during activities is somewhat better but still requires a precise fit on the wrist and a tight wrap, tighter than comfortable, not quite a tournaquet but almost .. blood supply to my hand is definitely lowered. Still, beats wearing chest straps and all the problems there.

I love garmin products and the Epix is now my favorite. The colorful display is so nice and the watch offers so much data. It's a great tool for any tool bag. I am very impressed with the battery life evergreen with the display. I would highly recommend the Epix.

This is my 3rd Garmin watch (Fenix and D2 Air). I was debating getting another, but am really glad I did. Every new watch I get has improved features and interface. I especially like the run/walk tracking features. Highly recommend, especially when they have a $450 off deal!

When I got the offer to get this watch, I felt that I couldn't pass it up. I had my Fenix5S for about 5 years and really appreciated its durability. The Epix has the touch screen and I find it a lot more interesting to get the information I want off of the watch (like the weather of the day, some of the basic workout information (average heart rate, power, etc)). I am trying to recover from an Achilles Tendon problem that has derailed my training and that is tempering my review. I enjoy being able to get my Spotify playlists on the watch and listen without needing to drag a phone along. It wasn't a simple process to get the Spotify app on the watch but it was doable. The morning report is pretty cool. Overall, this is a feature packed watch that I hope I can make the most of with my training. The screen has pretty decent resolution and colors.

Great watch with some incredible features (Amoled display, glances, HRV, PulseOX, and other training information). If the training data from my Garmin 830 fed easily into the Epix Gen 2 for cycling ability and VO2 max, it would be a 5star rating.

I upgraded from a 920xt. I know. I was overdue. I was the type to only wear for training. It was a tank and still is and is why I stick with Garmin. I also have an iwatch and am an iPhone user. Bottomline, most impressed with the battery life and screen clarity and brightness. Makes iwatch seem like generations back. Garmin makes the superior training watch. I am a triathlete. The iwatch is a better partner for your iphone, although i do not miss it or feel like i need to go back to it whatsoever. I am actually looking to probably gift it or sell the iwatch. I do have the white band and its eye catching and looks sharp but it does attract the dirt and grime. I already told the kids its a great father's day idea to put some new or different color garmin bands on the gift idea list. The Epix synced up with my sensors on all my training equipment easily. There is a little learning curve to the buttons and customization but nothing crazy.

I purchased the Epix (gen 2) as an upgrade to my Fenix 5. Good watch with several features that Fenix 5 does not have. Got in on sale but if the Fenix 7 had been on sale at same price I probably would have purchased that since the display is better.

I've been bouncing back and forth between the Fenix and Apple Watch for years, and the Epix has far and away the most beautiful display. The navigation features and pre loaded maps are what make this watch better than the Apple Watch Ultra. As long as you're willing to trade voice to text capabilities from your watch, you'll get a 15 day battery life, on a lightweight watch, with a bright display, and a ton of info at your fingertips.
