I've had this S62 for a year and love it in factory settings. If you have it paired with garmin golf app is were it gets a little bit glitchy. I also use the R10 for practice sessions and putting in club info. The s62 will sometimes glitch into club sections during play golf mode and absolutely won't go back to play golf you have turn the S62 completely off . So just be careful of the settings you turn on or turn off .but other then that is a very nice watch. And is always within 1 yard of my range finder .

Average golfer here who really enjoys ability to get immediate yardage throughout the entire hole, not just the distance to pin. Ability to read slope also is helpful.

I am 78. In the last four years i have purchased 2 previous Garmin watches primarily for Golf. They were ok, but this watch with the full set of Approach CT10 has upped my game. Amazing the information like, virtual caddy and wind speed and direction are valuable tools. Highly recommend this device.

I use the 62 for golf 100% of the time. It is a daily watch as well, typical and exercising (bike). There are quirks. The GPS for distances are nice.... Front, mid, rear, plays like, and I really like distance from tee shot (as you approach your ball after the tee shot). The Caddie is a great reinforcement of club selection. However, the editing of clubs and longest drives is a PIA pain n butt. the GPS after an update was weird, but has settled down now. Also, one time it would not find the satellite and I had to use my backup Golf Buddy. I love the reviewing of shots on home computer, and the historical data of shots. The price point is high for the watch IMHO. Apple Watch is adding great golf technology and is maybe better now. I do worry about obsolescence .... Garmin has decent support, Garmin needs to communicate and respond to major queries .

My third garmin watch. Overall a great easy to use product which is accurate and helpful The same problem persists as with the others. On occasion it looses its location and is difficult to get back to the hole being played Despite that I highly recommend the watch

Have used this new Garmin for about a month. I do not wear it all the time, so it is shut down when not in use. BUT, I have played three (3) rounds so far without recharging the battery! With the larger face it is easier to read than the S60 it replaced. Worth the money.

I recently upgraded to the s62 from a very old s6. The larger screen and advanced features make this a great golf watch. Struggling with the time it takes to pick up a satellite though, the s6 was instantly where it's taken the s62 upwards of 15-20 minutes to connect, not sure why!? Also I'm guessing that this watch wants to compete with let's say an Apple Watch but is all the extra crap really necessary if your buying it for golf yardage? My pulse ox has never helped me make birdies. As stated before it is a nice watch but the satellite time and all the extras don't make it a great watch in my opinion.

I've worn this watch for three years so far with no issues. I wish it had a microphone and speaker so I could make and answer calls. Overall very pleased with this garmin. Also Garmin could make new models more attractive to golfers if fair trade in values were made available. $500 price tags are not attractive and turn away most seniors.

I did buy this equipment two month ago, all the features are working fine except by the golf feature. The GPS non have the accuracy I had with the S60 I did have before.

I have used this watch for about 20 rounds and it generally performs well. The main issue I have had is that it doesn't seem to work at all at 1 particular local course ( Rancho Del Sol in Moreno Vallet Ca). I have played this course 3 times since getting the watch and it will not locate the course. The last time I played with a buddy who had an S12 and his watch had no trouble locating the course.watch seems to work perfectly everywhere else.

Coming from the Fenix 6X Pro, this was a bit of change. Now touch screen with way better options on the golf side. Love the screen and ability to zoom in and tap for distance. While the fenix had a little nicer workout features. BUT, the S62 gives you ever thing I need for cycling, spin bike, cardio etc. Great watch and MUCH better or golf

I recently upgraded from the S60 to the Approach S62. The watch has excellent battery life and is a major help on the course. Much easier to determine distances to hazards compared to the the S60. Also very easy to determine the "plays like" distance to allow for elevation changes. Light weight and comfortable to wear. Very happy with my purchase.

The Approach 62 is a great golf watch that has excellent precision for estimating distance to the green. The well designed features will help your game without the need for a laser finder....

I have been using the Garmin S62 about 3 years now and it is still working great. I have gone through a couple of bands and 2 charging cables, but otherwise no issues. Battery is still good for a couple rounds without charging. I use it year round about 3 days a week.
