Gregory Paragon 58 Backpack for Men

I've had a Paragon 58 for a couple of years now, and after regular use I can confidently recommend this pack. It's laid out intuitively with lots of helpful straps and loops to fix things to the outside of it, it's comfortable for longer hikes, and it hasn't needed any repairs or fixes after regular year-round use.

This is a GREAT backpack! It has many awesome features that you look for in a backpack, including great suspension to lighten the load, plenty of different compartments to make it easier to store things (and keep track of where they are) and the included rain cover for the bag. #sweepstakes

The pack had a great fit. It is very adjustable. What is missing is the daypack from the previous model. The quality and durability seem to be very good. The bag is on the heavier side at 3 lbs and 8.5 oz. overall it is a great backpacking bag.

The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I wish it had a way to quickly access items at the bottom of the bag. And that's basically just when it comes to my photography. I keep all the heavy items down low, which means my extra gear is down low. So if I need to access something while on the trail, it can be a bit of a process. That being said, I still LOVE this pack. It just gets better every year. The comfortability and overall weight of the pack make it one of my favorites in the lineup. It's lightweight and easy to carry whether it just has the essentials, or is stuffed full of camera or climbing gear. I love the grips towards the bottom that prevent it from sliding down your back with every step. I typically stick to 1-3 trip nights and I have never regretted using this pack.
