Good Latern
I'm using this mainly for home during outages and outback in the late evening when out by the fire. Works well, sturdy and gives off a lot of light if you need it. Looked at other brand options but this checked the boxes?Hoping to get years of usage
Super efficient.
I won one of these at a silent auction years ago and it is the best lantern ever. I can charge it at home and it last the entire 4 day weekend plus it keeps my phone charged. I can hook it to the top of the tent and use 1/2 of the light when I want to walk.

Three ways to charge: From the sun: Recharge the Lighthouse 600 from the sun by connecting a Nomad 10 Solar Panel (see SKU: GLZN10SP) to fully charge in as little as 6 hours of sunlight. From USB: The Lighthouse 600 can be recharged from a USB source in about 6 hours. From Cranking: When you are really in a pinch, use the hand crank to get 10 minutes of light for every 1 minute of cranking. The Lighthouse 600 Lantern has a USB port (output): 5V, up to 1.5A (7.5W max), regulated and a USB port (input): 5V, up to 1A (5W max).
The lantern has an LED (output) 2x3W warm white LED 600 Lumens, with a color temperature of 3500 Degree K. Burn times for the light are as follows: One side lit (low power) 320 hours, one side lit (high power) 5 hours, both sides lit (low power) 180 hours, both sides lit (high power) 2.5 hours, hand crank: 1 W (cranking at 120 RPM) 1 minute of crank equals 10 minutes of light on low power. The lantern uses a rechargeable lithium-ion NMC battery with a cell capacity of 18.7Wh (3.6V, 5200mAh). The battery has hundreds of lifecycles for years of reliable use. Battery shelf life requires a recharge every 3-6 months. Management system: Charging and low-battery protection are built-in. The lantern allows you to simultaneous recharge & discharge. Lantern measures 4.5 x 5 x 6.5" (11.4 x 12.7 x 16.5cm), weighs 1,1 lbs (498g) and has an operating temperature between 32-104 Degree F (0-40 Degree C).
