Goal Zero Lighthouse Mini Lantern

I bought this about a month ago, flicked it on a couple of times, it was very bright. I just came back from a 5 day backcountry turkey hunt in the Black Hills of South Dakota. I used my light on all but the first night because it wasn't really charged up all the way coming right out of the box.it is a wonderful bright light at a very small size

I love the replaceable battery version. I was going to buy several of these with the memorial day sale and give them out at a wedding. Unfortunately I won't be buying these. They may still be great, but why change a good feature that everyone loved. I guess it could be caused by the people that complained about the goal zero specific battery needed.

I bought my old school Lighthouse mini (with accessible battery chamber) a few years ago on sale, not expecting much. It has become my go-to light for camping and backpacking. It pops up with a full charge after sitting for 6 months! How is that possible? Amazing little light. Lasts long, and I love the half light option.

I purchased my Lighthouse 400 about 6 years ago. Went to use it today and couldn't get it to turn off. Other than not turning off it's still works like new. I been very happy with this lantern and was going to purchase 2 new ones. I was going to keep the battery from my old one as a backup after buying the new lanterns. Imagine my surprise finding out on the new ones you can't replace the battery. I really like this little lantern, it's been dropped, kicked and left in the rain but it's still working strong on the original battery. Because of the battery issue I'm looking at other lanterns that have battery replacements. I get that they need to have sales to make a profit but replacing the lantern because the battery went bad is not the way to do it. Considering most batteries last less than 3-4 years that's just wasteful having to replace the complete unit. Because of the battery issue I can no longer recommend this lantern.

I admit I am a GZ fan. I have 2 Minis with extra batteries. Over the 5+ years of use, I've had no problem with the batteries. I don't even know even know where the extra batteries are. One lite I use every day. The 2nd is for the trailer and while traveling. It's a great little lite.

Living in a senior apartment, we always have power outages at lest 2 times a year. Maybe more dark hallways. Lamination perfect, and light enough to carry and helpful to power up cellphones. Thank you

I have never written a product review before, but this light is amazing. I was repairing my dishwasher and put the light in the dishwasher for me to see. To test that the dishwasher drained, I ran it a full cycle. However, I forgot to take the light out. It was in the dishwasher for the full cycle -- including drying time. IT STILL WORKS. I have also used this product during hurricane and for other work situations. I have aLighthouse 400 as well. Both terrific.

Bought one a year ago and bought another one earlier this year. Outstanding product! Works as advertised, compact, and lasts a long time. Keep one hanging on the support line of my hammock- lasts all night!

We use this as our main light source when tent camping in a big family tent, and it serves as an all-round lightsource inside the tent. Cooking, reading, lighting up the general tent space, it does it all. I don't think I've ever seen a device with so many different built in options for hanging, standing, dangling, fastening, etc. The magnetic feature is really cool! And it works great with portabel solar panels. The only tiny minus is that the adjustment wheel really doesn't change the light gradually but more in quite noticable jumps, which makes fine tuning a bit difficult.
