Destined for Outer Banks NC use
Purchased on sale from GCI (why I bought them). Pros: Fits about any chair seatback upright with strong spring loaded clamps. I actually bought them for my beach chairs (non-GCI), and they fit those round tubes great. Levers near bottom used to hold shade open are quite stiff and do require some finger strength to snap open/closed, but I imagine will break in. Tilting hinge seems strong enough to hold in position you choose. CONS: One thing I've loved about my GCI products was always their warranty and no hassle honoring same. But after I registered my pair of sun shades, I noticed the warranty policy does not cover sun shades. From the warranty policy on their site: WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
The warranty does not cover:
Normal wear & tear of product
Broken handles, straps, cup holders, or pockets
Damage to the Sunshade Accessory or chair carry bag (see replacement parts)
Half the reason I buy GCI is for the warranty, and this is disappointing, which is why I docked it a star. Looks well built enough that I shouldn't need warranty assistance though.
Will not get field use for a couple more months, but look forward to using them on beach, hope they can withstand a common sea breeze.

Excellent product, and YouTube can help
No instructions come with this product; I presume the designers and employees know intuitively how to unfurl and repack in their sleep. I could open it up, but was leery of breaking something if I pushed or pulled too hard. The same was true of trying to pack it up so it would fit in the carry bag. With that said, I reverted to a YouTube video to see what I was missing. Now I'm quite intuitive with the Sunshade. It functions as expected and attaches easily with the claw-hook. I am allergic to sunscreen, so this is another way to protect myself from the effects. The QR code offers information on registering the product; however, it does not include instructions, at least not that I could conjure.

Not as vibrant as I was expecting but,
The shade is great and works how it should. It's easy to set up. When I was ordering my chair, this green shade was recommended, and I thought it was because the colors were similar. They're not. The shade doesn't match well with my chair, but it's fine I will still use it..

Replaced my big umbrella
This sunshade is everything. I love not having to carry a separate umbrella for shade when going out. It's super easy to clip on and provides great shade. I use it in the yard, at the beach, at my kids sports games... love it and highly recommend.

Compact shade that clips onto chair easily!
Great shade that easily clips onto the chairs! My only wish is that they still made the chair where a shade was attached. But this is easy to use and a nice addition.

The GCI Sunshade Accessory works pretty good with the folding camo chairs I have, providing Sun protection when sitting in the open at outdoor events and the design sheds wind and breezes very well.

Best customer service ever..
This is the BEST customer service I have ever received. Pico Arm chair is great but it broke. After contacting warranty dept. they had a replacement chair shipped to me free of charge. The chair is great and now glad to know the same for warrant?Ķ thanks
