Must have for camping!

Must have if you tent camping frequently! I bought this for my husband and thought I?d try it out?.ended up loving it! So I claimed it for myself, haha. Now I need to find another one for my husband. I hope it?s on sale again soon!

Feels great and amazing

Second time purchasing this sleeping mat. This is the most comfortable mat I’ve ever used for camping. It’s literally feel like waking up from my own bed. Very warm and no back pain!

Exped Megamat 10 M Best Ever!

The first time inflating, it self-inflates part way, comes with a cool hand pump to inflate the rest of the way, easy, no sweat! Concerned, read that some had problems with it self inflating, I had no problem because of the hand pump. Heck, I'm 61 and it was so easy. Very comfortable, firm not bouncy, does not compare to the inflatable air mattress I grew up with. This is a new league altogether, feels like a regular mattress. It's more on the firm side, but I did let some air out to soften it up a bit. It does not deflate halfway through the night, and my hips don't touch the ground. Plus, it is insulated so it does not sap the warmth out of my body like a regular inflatable air mattress. I talked to the company, very helpful, nice. I learned that I can store the mattress rolled up, will just have to use the hand pump if it doesn't inflate all the way by itself the next time I use it. It also comes with a 5-year warranty even against punctures, the company will stand behind the product. The top fabric is really soft, feels good to sleep on. I am 5'6" the M is plenty long and fits perfect in my Subaru Outback. I put a sheet on it in my car so it doesn't get dirty. I am so excited to use it!

Most comfy and warm camping mat!

I bought my exped megamat earlier this spring and it has been great. I’ve used it several times this winter with a 20 degree bag in the the early part of the season and a 0 degree bag in deep freeze months and have stayed warm. The mattress is super cozy and you don’t bottom out on it when changing positions or sitting/kneeling. It packs up fast and easy into the side winder bag. No difficulties with getting it pumped up using the little foot pump. It is just as comfy as my bed at home!

Pricey & bulky, totally worth it for comfortable car camping

This is a lot bulkier compared to backpacking alternatives but if you're okay with a pricier option to be more comfortable for car camping, it's a great option.
