Saved the Trip!

A big storm drove us from the tent in the BWCAW. Had to cower under a shelf of rocks as the storm raged. After it passed, we returned to the the tent and found it sitting (with all our stuff still inside) in three inches of water, but everything inside was bone dry! Moved it to higher ground and slept well. Unfortunately it later collapsed in a strong wind in the Black Hills. But it lasted a good 10 years. I'd have liked to replace just the poles.

great product for the money

This is a great tent for the money. I would definitely recommend it to almost anyone. Bought this tent to use for scout camping trips and other camping/hiking trips. Easy to set up and very wind/rain proof. I had the opportunity to compare this tent to the outfitter series tent and although they look very similar, the outfitter series is much more heavy duty but $200 more. This tent has been very reliable so far and my son and I are happy with the purchase. Sunnysports was definitely the cheapest source for this tent and I ordered it online and received it the following day. Not too shabby!!

This is what other tents aspire to be.

Theres no way 4 people could camp in this tent if they were older than puberty take that into account if you were considering the Timberline 2 or thought you might step up to the Timberline 6. Otherwise its a great tent. The vestibule is a great addition.Yes its more expensive than [...] tents but this is the only tent you'll ever need...

Eureka 4 - Man Can't Beat Perfection!

We bought a Eureka 4- Man Timberline 36 years ago when we first married. Eventually, after 3 kids, we traded in for a bigger tent. Now, with the kids gone, we looked for a new tent, and quess what? Eureka Timberline is still the very best!! Best price, features, dependability, you name it. This tent has already gone to Isle Royale and Glacier National Parks, and performed with flying colors. Way to go, Eureka! Also, we love the Eureka Singlis air mattresses, which work great, too!!!
