In the past, I had to buy my daughter a new backpack every year for school. Four years ago I bought my first Eagle Creek backpack. She carried that backpack for four years and it still looks fine. She just asked for a new color. If you think it's a little on the expensive side, take the price of the ones you buy multiplied by four and compare I Highly recommend this backpack!

This is the best everyday bag I have ever owned. I really like the side entrace to grab things at the bottom of my bag and to easily grab small items in the organized zipper pockets. The mesh water bottle pocket is large and deep so it holds my large bottles well and I do not have to worry about them falling out. The outside compartment for my laptop makes it easy to pull out when I'm on the go or at the airport without opening my entire bag. While ocassionaly tight (from my overpacking) it's worked well as a personal item on all of my flights so far. I've used this bag for over a year and it's gone everywhere with me!

I tried my backpack for the first time in Cusco. It's simply spectacular. The most important thing: it's very comfortable, also very practical, lightweight, and looks sturdy and suitable for high traffic. My new favorite.

I wanted so so so much to like this bag. It's awesome looking and the layout of pockets is great. A minor tick against for having only one water bottle pocket, but otherwise amazing. The two issues I had that made it not work for me: 1 - The bag itself is a little smaller than I'd prefer. Something closer to 30L would be nicer for me, though I could have made this work if it weren't for the second issue. 2 - The shoulder straps are weirdly short. The padded part of the strap is at least 2-3 inches shorter than on my old Mountain Hardware bag that I'm trying to replace. They're also weirdly narrow. The combination of these two things made this bag uncomfortable to me and I had to return it. Make a 30L or 32L bag and fix the straps and I'll order in a heartbeat!

It's a great bag. We bought it to replace a bag that was worn out. Wife is an international flight attendant. The bag has been around the world. This bag is the same size but has fewer exterior pouch pockets. Sad to see the old bag go

I like alot of the features of this pack. The side opening is awesome. Makes it easier to find things at the bottom of the pack. I like the organizing features of this pack. The glasses pocket is a great addition for me. I am looking forward to my first trip with this pack. I plan to use it as a personal item. We will see how well it works.

I took a new job that requires about 100 days of travel a year. I needed a pack that could work with my EXPANSE 4-WHEEL 22" CARRY-ON and that I could keep with me at all times. I also needed a good pack for when I wasn't traveling and just to go to and fro from the house to coffee shop. This pack delivered! I would give 5 stars, but I'm giving 4 only because I don't like the balance. When it is on my EXPANSE 4-WHEEL 22" CARRY-ON it can easily tip over. Not very balanced if you know what I mean.

I'm always impressed by the quality, value, and Customer Support from Eagle Creek. I got this bag after my "Mobile Office" backpack couldn't take it anymore. What I loved about the Mobile Office bag was the ability to open it fully with the main zipper going all around the bag. In comparison with this new version, I feel a bit limited by the size of the main compartment, I just wished it was a bit larger or go all around like my old bag. Other than that, I'm very happy with my purchase.
