I packed for a month long trip to Indian and China. This 21. 5" carry-on was amazing. Several times I was able to place this carry on luggage where others could not. Even both India and China security checks were easier, as the security personnel easily accessed the many storage pockets. The exterior fabric is very durable, and the wheeled luggage was easy to tote through India & China airports, and China's train stations. Also, there were no problems carrying this luggage on China's high speed railroads to Beijing, Taiyuan, and Xi'an. Even a road trip to Inner Mongolia was made easier because of the light weight and small size of the luggage. I didn't have any luggage to check throughout the trip. This luggage is definitely a nice piece of work! A+++++

Well constructed. Excellent baggage. Works well and holds a lot of luggage if packed correctly. Seems tough and will last a long time. East to load into the back of a truck or SUV. . Very pleased with the color and the overall design of the Cargo Hauler.

The Cargo Hauler wheeled carryon appears to fit international airline size standards, while also offering well organized packing. I can't comment further at this point, as I have yet to travel with this carryon.

We bought 2 of the international sized carryons. We have 2 ea large and medium size suitcases from Eagle Creek and like the brand. Have only used once so far. They are ok and fit nicely in the overhead storage compartments. The extendable handle and wheels do what they are supposed to but do take away from internal storage space. Would have preferred spinning wheels. We have no intention of ever carrying them on our backs so we cut out the backpacking straps to utilize the space for extra packing. I think they were too pricy for what we got and would not buy this size again.

Luggage is well made and lightweight. It is hard to close the zipper and I would have liked more zippered compartments along the side inside.

I got this to use as carry on for upcoming liveaboard dive trip. Capacity is perfect. It's holding mask, fins, regulator, computer, sandals, a change of clothes and a small dive light. Basically everything except my BC so if luggage gets lost I've got most of the size specific gear with me. Really solid bag, my gear is well protected. Extremely happy with this purchase.

First, I must mention Customer Service. As always, I shopped last minute when I realized what I had was not going to work. My package arrived 5 days before departure, and it was the wrong bag ??. Quick convo with CS and a new bag as on its way. Express shipment got it to me on time. And so so happy it made it! After 3 weeks in Iceland, very pleased. The perfect compliment to a checked bag as you continue your way through the airport with wheels. Pop this up easily overhead in all flights and can still carry a small backpack for under my seat. I also believe I sold 3 during my journey. Everyone loves this bag!

Love this piece. Using it on one month trip in Africa. This and underseat pack are the only luggage. So far works on all international flights and small planes. Size is adequate and super light weight. Docked it a star as strap tore first day out with only 21 pounds. Had local shop resew and reinforce other strap. Definitely a weak spot.

I purchased this specifically Because it was the right size to fit as a carry-on and fit in the European overhead spaces on airlines. The fact that it was a backpack that could convert into a roller, was a plus point. This is a very light piece of luggage also. I found, it did not work especially well for me, a 65-year-old woman with an old shoulder injury. That, is my fault. If you've got a shoulder injury That still causes you problems, you probably should not have a backpack. But again, it was the size and the weight that attracted me to this luggage. This luggage tried to do a lot of things and did those things all in a ' just OK ' manner; not great, but not awful. It was awkward, using the straps as they did not slide While putting on your back, against your arms as a regular backpack would've; The material grabbed my sleeves. It was also hard to pack so that the weight was at the bottom and could roll easily. If you packed it that way then it was awkward to get onto your back. It was awkward To put away the straps and convert the luggage into a roller. The straps would drag behind you On the floor, causing a tripping hazard. If you took the time to make the strap shorter, then you were going to have to do the opposite when it came time to put the backpack back on your back. Also, the cavity where you were supposed to tuck in the straps really didn't work very well. The straps, had a piece of material that strapped the two straps together, but I'm not sure how I would've ever used that, except to help me to push them into their Judy place. The very top of the backpack had an opening that was very convenient for stuffing. Last-minute items in. The Largest area, not only zipped, but clipped which was more than was necessary, but you still had to do it or it would catch as you tried to put the pack on your back. One might assume that the rolling side of the backpack was against your own back, but that is not the case, the part, the place where you have to zip and clip things, is actually against your back. I will say it worked for our purposes in that, we travel with two CPAP and we needed to be able to put our CPAP into something that could be carry-on only and stored above us.

Very nicely designed to roll and just the size I need. I ordered online so could not try it ahead. It is a bit unwieldy to put on a 65 year-old woman's back, so my husband will be the one who uses it.

Although the product looks to be well constructed (my last Eagle Creek duffle lasted over 20 years and travelled around the world with me), it is too small to be useful. I returned it for a larger, non wheeled, conventional duffle from Eagle Creek. The new duffle works well for me.

It's well constructed and durable. I simply wish that the backpack straps had daisy chains so that an optional chest strap could be attached to help stabilize the weight. I also wish that Eagle Creek had an optional hip belt to balance the backpack's weight on the bottom. I was able to find options on Amazon, but it would be nice to have this engineered by Eagle Creek for their own products.

This is a great bag however, the buckles on the side are very difficult to open if you don't have strength or if you have arthritis in your hands.

First trip using my new cargo hauler and I love it! The color is a beautiful rose. It is lightweight, sturdy, good zippers, material stayed clean, fits in overhead compartments on international flight. Works well with packing bags. Wheels well on flat and bumpy surfaces. Supports a small bag on top of bag over pull out handle. I am very happy with this purchase!

Great bag: handy size and shape, easy to pack, seems sturdy and well put-together. One minor quibble: one of the compression straps is very short, always gets buried under the contents, and is hard to fish out when it's time to cinch. I've experienced this with other Eagle Creek bags, too. Otherwise, highly recommended.

I liked this bag so much I bought a second for my husband. We prefer to stick with carry on luggage as much as possible. I've taken mine on several international trips, but also use it for our frequent domestic trips as well. We just brought both of our bags to Greece where we hopped between flights, ferries and rental cars. Very happy with the quality and durability as well as the space. I tend to be an over-packer!

Just got back from a two-week trip in southern Spain with this bag. It was great over cobblestones and when it got too much I could pick it up and put it on as a backpack and it was very comfortable. The only thing I would change about the bag is I wish that it was a little bit bigger. It was very easy to get on and off the airplane and I had no trouble with using it as a carry-on but I think it could have a little bit more space and still pass as a carry-on.

I love that it has the wheels because using a back pack for long periods makes my back hurt. It is convenient to have the handles on the side to quickly pick up. I like the water resistant material so that it doesn't get dirty easily or wet. This bag works for international travel carry on. I was able to fit a weeks worth of clothes in the bag and still didn't use 1/4 of the clothes. The one negative I have is that I wish you could remove the back pack straps because they take up extra space when not being used. The straps do tuck nicely into their own zipper pocket though. I would recommend this for anyone wanting a great carry on bag.

Very nice bag which seems smaller than it really is. Well made of robust materials. Though I understand this bag is sized to meet carry on standards for international flights, I would like one just a little bigger. Would definitely buy it again.
