We bought two of these to haul our scuba gear after extensive research on travel bag options. We valued the ability to pack it down to a small size storable bag when not in use, including on a live-aboard scuba boat trip or tiny hotel room. They work great, and following eagle creek traditions are well made. Please note they can tip over when standing upright fully packed. We did not find the length of the handle a problem as in other reviews. Do plan ahead and lean on something or lay down to avoid tipping. Items to improve: 1) add an internal pocket for small items, 2) a spot to securely hold an apple tag for tracking (this is really important when checking valuable items), 3) external dedicated spot for luggage tag/ personal information. Time to update, Eagle Creek. Everyone uses airtags these days. Overall, I recommend. Great, durable bag.

Holds more than imaged. individual sections well designed. My astonishing sight was in unpacking the rather small size pouch into a nice sized duffle bag with handles and back straps. Kudo to designers

I got this bag from a warranty repair. I had an eagle creek bag for 5 years before it started to fall apart from heavy use. Eagly Creek honored their warranty and I was able to upgrade to their new version free of charge!

I have the 40L bag from Eagle Creek, but I needed just a bit more room for longer trips. I can live out of this bag for several weeks, so perfect for those long trips, but still want to have an easily carried bag. My only complaint?the pocket on one end of the bag is a pain to open because of the flap over the zipper. They are water proof zippers so just make both pockets the same and easy to get into. Just a thought.

Good travel duffle. But I don't like the fabric, it feels like plastic. The dual use shoulder straps are a good idea, I use them a lot when going through airports.

I have a medium eagle creek 31" bag, and I was in an extended trip to two very different climates. I brought this along with me, for extra items. I am 60 years old and navigated easily through airports with the duffle on my back, pushing my large wheeled bag, a small carryon and back pack. Great product.

I used this on an international trip as luggage since I was recommended not to bring hardcase. It held a weeks worths of clothes with room for souvenirs on the way back. It got scuffed, very scuffed, by the end of it solely due to the Airports handling, but it had only cosmetic damage. I like how it can pack into itself for storage, the blue is nice. Also I highly recommend using packing cubes for a duffle. I didn't use it as a backpack since I was already wearing a backpack and when walking with it it was good enough, only problems are those when carrying a bulky thing near your legs

Frankly a very efficient bag. It collapses to nothing when you need to place it inside a suitcase, weighs very little, it is very sturdy. The zippers are fantastic quality. I like the loop included on the flap to place a lock through. We embarked on a journey with very strict size and weight requirements and this bag proved a lifesaver. The concealable backpack straps are a plus. The variety of handles is excellent. A top line bag that proved great value. Keep it up!

This bag seems to hold up well. I like the end pockets which many companies seem to have stopped adding. The middle divider is ok, but it keeps you from really packing the bag. I wish there were some handles for a normal style carry. There are plenty of side handles, which provide the same purpose but it is odd.
