I used this pack on a climbing expedition to Island Peak and Ama Dablam in Nepal, and I loved it! It carried beautifully and the two pockets on the waist strap were excellent for keeping snacks and sunscreen etc. handy. The pack was really roomy making it easy to carry all my bulky high altitude climbing gear. This pack had all the bells and whistles I hoped for together with excellent hip support and being lightweight. An all around winner!

I've been testing out my ACT Lite 60+10 SL for a few months now and love it! This bag is well constructed with materials that I know will be able to take a beating -- I'm not worried at all about this bag wearing out and feel comfortable taking it on my off-trail, bushwhacking adventures! Next, I love how Deuter has designed the SL line. One of my favorite features is how the hip belts curve slightly to match the shape of the female hips. I don't find this backpack floating up towards my nature waist, which is something I've experienced in the past. I also really like how easy it is to adjust the height of the backpack. I have a really short torso and had no problem getting this down to a small enough size -- further, Deuter has thought of everything and I could even move the load adjusters on the shoulders down to match my torso size. All of this means that I can very comfortably carry a decent amount of weight in this backpack without feeling like I'm going to tip over. Other things I really love: the deep stretchy side pockets. A large water bottle can go in there and the pockets are tall enough to keep them in very securely. A very stretchy front pocket that breathes well, great for wet rain jackets. And last, the floating collar of the backpack that allows it to grow to a 70L!
