I thought I purchased a top of the line product. Unfortunately my CFX3 35L showed up right out of the box not working, showing a code: "warning 03" I get it, things happen right. Well going on wk. 2 and it's still sitting in my possession even after filling out a return ticket and speaking to a customer service representative. They have my money and I am stuck currently with a 650 dollar boat anchor. I did buy it to use this summer by the way. Come on Dometic, what's going on?

I purchased my new Dometic CFX35 from Just Jeeps in Canada. I had an Amazon electric cooler, which worked, but was sub par, the efficiency just wasn't there. The upgrade is amazing, it is better insulated, and much more energy efficient. It is the same internal size as my previous cooler. But the best part, NO ICE! I'm in the process of building a new adventure trailer, and my Dometic cooler will have a place of honor in the new build. Highly recommend!

Great product, very reliable, long lasting electric coole, it's my second unt,I bought the first one, a CFX3 110 liters in 2017 , still runs like the first day, this one is more compact for my SUV.

Perfect Fit in my E-250 van between the driver and passenger seat. I haven't been able to get the WiFi or the Bluetooth to work with my iOS 15pro.. the leap $ was steep but so far leaving ice behind has been well worth it

The cooler does not kill my camp battery. Also when I needed some extra freezer space I plugged it into ac and it went to 17F (-8C) no problems

I'm a very frugal semi truck driver. Been dealing with coolers of ice, and or eating unhealthy truckstop food for years. Been researching portable fridges for years. Finally decided it was time to take a chance. So far I have only had the CFX3 35 with me on the road for several days. So far, there is no buyers remorse whatsoever. I absolutely love this thing. Fantastic product. My only regret, I didn't buy one a long time ago. Also, I had one minor hiccup with billing and Dometic Customer Service handled it properly and immediately. Thank you Dometic - All Around.

I bought the CFX3 35 and used it for a one week car trip. It worked great. I wish the power plugs were located at the same end as the display is located. Currently, when it is loaded into the car I can't see both the power connection, to be sure it is connected and not bumped loose, and the display.

Purchased the CFX3-35 and have Used it once, so far, for a 4 day camping trip. We are a family of four and were able to fit all of our food inside, plus my small dogs home-made food. We did also have a separate cooler for drinks. We ran the unit off of a 12v battery which is attached to a 160w solar panel. I was concerned the Dometic would drain the battery overnight but it consumed very little power, so we were able to charge our phones, turn on lights, run our heater, etc. in our Four Wheel Camper. A size up to the CFC3-45 would have been ideal, but it is taller than the CFX3-35 and would not have fit under the bed ( when extended). I do wish the cord was a foot longer, or have the option to buy a longer cord from Dometic. Do wish the door latch was different.It doesnt seem very secure and fear it could be issue down the road after a lot of use. The outdoor temp when camping was a low of 40 degrees at night and a high of 76 during the day. The Dometic cooler did have some minor damage, caused during shipping, I assume. The damage really didn't require replacement but I contacted customer service about it and they shipped me a cover for the unit.

I previously owned the CFX 28, which served me flawlessly, running 24/7 for the past three years before upgrading recently to the CFX3 35. The upgrade was driven by the need for more room and the convenience of monitoring temps through the app while traveling. So far the CFX3 35 has exceeded all my expectations in size, efficiency durability and performance during our full-time adventure traveling through the backcountry.

I bought this for my car camping rig and so far it's performing nicely. It requires very little power to run. when they say less than a 60w light bulb, they aren't kidding! It cools down quickly and it extremely quiet. This was important because its right next to me while sleeping. A bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for!

I bought this a week ago and the DC power requirements are tougher than I thought. I have two deep cycle battery bank and the protection keeps kicking in and I've watched it closely, even with the 40 amp battery charger going and providing plenty of juice. It appears I need a lithium battery on its own. I'm using it as a freezer. I got a jackery. If that doesn't work, it's going back to REI where I bought it. A thought would be to have an 10ah onboard Lithium battery to help with the load spikes. Also, I don't like that it doesn't switch from AC/DC automatically. Vitrigo does and their product is $200 less. We'll see, I'll update this as it goes along

I ask a lot of questions, hoping to make the most informed decision. I have a two door JL that I plan to take on a 3 week tour, from PA to Moab>Rubicon. I want a smaller cooler, because the most I'll be "off the grid" will be three days. I went with the CFX3 35, and man oh man I couldn't be happier! Its rugged, easy to manage with its iOS app, easy to clean, and I get asked a lot about it. Its been a real trooper! Highly recommended.

I know that phrase is thrown around a lot, but what a difference over needing to find, buy, pack, drain, etc. ice on a long trip. I'll never go back. Does exactly what I need, has plenty of room, and sips power. I have it plugged into a 100ah battery and a 150 watt solar panel, and in 300-days-of-sunshine-Colorado, I can power it indefinitely. Five stars all around.

I love the fridge - absolutely great piece of gear. I love the PLB 40 - also well made and works so well. I HATE THE 12v CABLE. I have to buy a new cable to be able to utilize the 2 pin socket on the PLB battery. My cable does not have a 2 pin option to use on the PLB40 - it's just a standard 12v plug. I tried unscrewing the end but there is just a fuse. I was not supplied with any 2 pin plug alternative. Where can I buy this mysterious 2 pin plug that is required? Thanks

Throughly impressed with everything about this CFX3 35. Will fit perfectly on the back floor of my 2020 Ram 1500 and plug into the 400 watt 110 outlet between the rear of the front seats. A breeze to set up everything including the blue tooth. To call this beautifully designed workhorse quiet is a vast understatement. I had to get down on my knees beside it to even hear the compressor or fan blowing. My kitchen fluorescent light makes twice the noise, Also the Dometic PLB40 fits perfectly in the pickup bed Ramboxes beside their 400 watt 100 outlet to keep it charged.

Design is clean and user-friendly, product is durable enough to survive Baja... that includes sitting on the beach and getting covered in dirt and sand. Easy to use for quick trips or keep food cool for long rides!
