This my third pair of these lovely shoes - love the color; best soles for snow /ice of my tennis shoes; wear these walking my dog throughout the MN winters - warmer than many clunky boots. And always receiving compliments on these shoes.

They do not run large.
These are SUPER comfy. Reviews across various sites listed these as running large which I disagree with. Recently had my feet measured and I'm a typical 9.5 however I usually get 10 for any athletic shoe. When you get a pair of hiking shoes, they should be slightly larger to account for swelling, thicker socks,etc. I am bummed I listened to the reviews and got my usual size of 9.5 - they could have been slightly bigger as my outer toes do hit the front. For anyone who hikes, you know that would cause a lot of pain over time hitting my foot on the front of the shoe every step downwards especially. Other than that, these are super grippy, very attractive and are my regular dog walking shoes. I love them! Danner quality is always great.

So I'm gonna start by throwing in my two cents on these color options. In my opinion, black, brown, blue and hot sauce (which looks distinctly orange in person) are not what I would call feminine colors. Is there some feminization on some of these shoes - sure, but are ALL of them feminine - no. That said, I really like all of the colors and appreciate the variety since I'm sure some of us like a few "girly-ish" options. I personally own pairs in hot sauce and black and would love to own another in summer wheat since it easily has the cutest looking outdoors color combo I've ever seen. As for the colors I do own, hot sauce is fun (again, the product photos are deceiving - it's a rusty looking orange), but the black actually looks really clean and cool in person as well. As for fit (which is what should matter most), they're perfect. Sizing seems accurate since I wear 8's and the 8's fit like a glove. Please note, I have narrow feet with a wider toe and these almost seemed designed for my specific foot shape. I could see those with wider feet throughout not loving them as much, but I'd still encourage you to give them a shot just in case. I have other Danners (the mountain 600's) that I don't love as much since the toe box seems kinda tight/low to me, but I can talk about the trail 2650's all day. I've gotten several people in my family to buy pairs because they look so good in person and the fit is that phenomenal. Try them out and see for yourself.

Heavenly to hike in
Love the look! Never looks dirty because if blends with outside terrain. Comfy comfort! Your foot feels smothered in a cloud like the one in the sky. I don't feel the overbearing rocks on the trail. Great grip for those hard diverse uphill or incline hiking.

These shoes feel feather light
These shoes feel feather light on my feet. Yet they are durable for hundreds of miles and can handle any terrain. I loved how comfortable my feet feel inside that I ended up buying another pair. I walk 3-5 miles every day on sidewalk and on trails.

So comfortable
My favorite hiking shoes of all time. I literally can't believe how dreamy my feet feel when I wear them. After 8-10 hours my feet still feel great. They are lightweight and although not waterproof they hold off the water through a short amble thru heavy dew which counts for alot! I wear them everyday for extensive outdoor work on hilly and rocky terrain and after three months they are holding up really well! I love them so much!

This is my third pair of the 2650 trail shoe! I love these shoes! I walk 3-5 miles 4-5 days a week and these keep my feet happy while I traverse the rocky roads!
They were comfortable right away, no need to break in! I just hope they keep making them.
