Poor Design

Dang - I really wanted this shoe to fit and be comfortable. I own other Danner's that are awesome. The heel rubs where the loop is sewed on. It is attached on the inside of the shoe. It's just a poor design.

These are SO comfortable! I

These are SO comfortable! I wear them 10 hours/day on concrete floors and have no foot pain. I can't say enough good things about them. I get a lot of compliments on the style also! I was worried about them not having the full opening as I read in reviews. But, I found I prefer it, I never have to worry about the tongue moving around. Recommend everyone to buy these!!!!

I bought these for a trip to The Balkans. My first time to Europe, solo, turning 56 tomorrow. I have a pair of Loggers I have had for 3 years and wear 5 months of the year! Love them both. Happy feet and get lots of compliments!!!! The best shoes ever

Beautiful shoe, but too tight around the ankles

I'm in love with this shoe! Unfortunately, after a tough conversation with myself I have to return, they are just too tight around the ankles. There was no way to know if they would stretch out over time. I think after an hour, I'd start to feel claustrophobic in them. There's also an area on the back heel that rubs due to the layered exterior construction. I've been on a long time search for a good transitional shoe, street to hike, and I sincerely hope Danner changes this one feature to make these shoes a winner ??

Appreciate the black

I appreciate the black color option for these. Oftentimes women's versions of things are only made in brighter/louder colors, which I'm not a fan of. Thanks for not going that route!

Removable OrthoLite Footbed
Three layers of varying density are combined for maximum cushioning and support. The entire footbed is made of open-cell polyurethane for better heat dissipation and air circulation.

Vibram Overlook Outsole
The Overlook Outsole with Megagrip technology features adaptive lugs and ample surface contact for versatile traction in urban and outdoor environments.

Stitchdown Heel
For added stability, the heel of this style uses a stitchdown construction method.

How It Fits
Inspired from trail running, the DT6 last features an 8mm offset from heel to toe with slightly more width in the forefoot for stability and a good-looking, everyday-wearable aesthetic.
