Perfect even for the littlest ones

Our 2 year old wants to be a scuba diver just like Mommy and Daddy. She wanted to practice in the bathtub with a snorkel and mask and she's been doing an amazing job with it. The snorkel is big for her face and a little heavy but obviously that is going to happen because she's a little small to be trying out such hobbies. She doesn't use it appropriately yet to give us feedback but I remember using junk as a kid and it dissuades your enthusiasm for snorkeling or going underwater when everything leaks. This seems to be high quality and built very well. The keep-dry mechanism is performing as I would expect when I test it. The toddler loves it and scuba diving in the bath tub is generally the highlight of her day. It traveled 1000 miles with us to the ocean but did not go in. We'll try again in a few weeks. This definitely met our expectations. If you have a really little one who has a passion for it - definitely give it a try even though it will be big/heavy. Bigger kids will love it.

A little disappointed

I was a little disappointed when I gave them to my grandchildren. The masks that you recommended doesn’t cover the nose so they can’t be used for snorkeling. My fault I should have told you that the mask and snorkel were to be used together. Other than that I was happy with the quality

Best kids snorkel on the market!

Can’t say enough great things about this snorkel! Taught both my kids to swim at age 2 with a mask and snorkel...specifically THIS snorkel. My kids can swim or sink under water and it doesn’t allow water in, so there isn’t any water for them to blow out, they can just resume breathing as soon as they resurface. Highly recommend for kids of any age!

The Cressi Mini Dry Junior Snorkel has an anti-splash end with a special valve that seals the tube as your youngster surface dives, almost totally preventing the entrance of water when the snorkel is submerged. The lower end has a corrugated section that has a smooth internal bore which prevents trapping water inside the snorkel tube allowing excess water to quickly drain to the collection cup below. The corrugated section also quickly drops away from the diver's mouth when switching from the snorkel to the Scuba regulator.

The special water collection cup, with its large elliptic one-way exhaust valve makes expelling excess water quick and easy. The junior sized angled mouthpiece and corrugated tube section are both made from hypoallergenic silicone adding comfort and function. A quick release snorkel keeper and ergonomic shape makes this one great snorkel.
