Ordered it for my son to go skiing in and he loved it. Absolutely warm in very snowy conditions.

i bought this jacket for my Finland trip and it is well made as expected from Columbia. the omni heat coating is very effective in trapping heat inside the jacket. I have not gotten a chance to wear it in a windy situation so i could not tell how good it is to block wind. Also, it runs a bit large so remember to buy one size down.

Was really excited for this coat and it seemed well made. But because it did not have a double zipper its length made it impossible to wear.

I had high hopes for this coat when I ordered it. As soon as it arrived I tried it on and the fit was nice. I have long arms and the sleeves were great. The problem is it's not very warm. Right away I noticed cold creeping in around the shoulders and arms. This was at 30F above zero! I was really disappointed because around here it gets much colder for a good part of the winter. After having it a couple weeks it has only gotten more disappointing. There are feathers poking out all the time. I wear a sweater and I have to have my wife pick them off my back every time. I expected more for the price.
