I have a pair of these that I bought from the university of Oregon with their branding and I decided to get a normal pair and these yet again are the best swim trunks I have ever had. 100/10

My son and husband both love these for boating and sailing. My son just wishes they came in 5" inseam. He's 5'10" and the 6" is good, but still a little longer than he would prefer. Even at 6'2", my husband says that he would prefer a 5" inseam.

I bought this about a year ago and got the fossil color and loved it so much that I bought three more. One of the pairs I ironed and it got a massive hole in it about a month ago but it was totally my fault for ironing them about once a week. I did cut the bathing suit mesh out because it was chafing me very badly. Over all though I wear these with any thing and they are the perfect mix between dressy and casual.

It's basically my daily outfit sown in Florida....can get wet and dry out quickly...mesh lining means no underwear...elastic waist means no sliding off....use them to fish, swim, or have drinks with friends....have at least 10 pair...

Have a pair of 8" and 6" and they are both awesome for everyday wear and also swimming. The liner can be easily cut off with a pair of scissors if one wants. The back pocket is also nice

I own 2 pairs of these and they are super comfortable and light weight. They fit great at the waist and upper leg area but at the bottom they are super wide and stick out to the sides. I tried to go a size down but it was to small so I'm stuck with wide legs. Hopefully I can find a way to make them less wide at the bottom.

Purchased for my fiance, who is normally a size medium. Heeded the advice from other reviews and sized down to a small, and they fit perfectly! The shorter inseam is great for active/swim shorts, too, he loves them and the color pops!

6 inch leg, non staining, plus plenty of pockets and belt loops for an added bonus. I have every color and this is all I wear down here in Florida. Quick drying from swimming or sweating. You can't beat these shorts/swimming trunks!

Perfect for any type of outdoor activity where you may be in and out of the water. I've used them for a day of boating(swimming from the boat) and a day of kayaking so far. I'm on the shorter side so really appreciate being able to pick a shorter(6") inseam. I bought one pair to start with and immediately ordered a second once I tried them out.

My guys love these shorts, and they wish I'd buy them every color. (We're working in on it ;) They're the perfect mix of style, comfort, and functionality! The belt loops are a huge bonus for us, since their school dress code requires them to wear belts.

I live in a tropical climate and I've found these to be great all-around shorts for our area. I don't fish, but I've found these to be superior to wear for playing tennis than the purpose-dedicated shorts from Nike, Adidas, etc. They're light-weight, they wear like iron, you can get more tennis balls than you'll need in the pockets, you get the SPF protection, and they wick well. I wear them boating, too, and the zipped pocket comes in handy for protecting against loss in the water. I also like that the side pocket is a good size for my mobile phone.

This design is perfect for Hiking, Backpacking, Rafting, Scuba, Beach, and working out at the gym. The belt loops are not always used, but available for a lightweight belt when hiking. The pockets are great for the gym, for keys, or to hold a phone. All around the best work out short on the market. Recommend.

Purchased 3 pairs of the water shorts for my husband. Husband's comments: great fit, good length, comfortable to wear in the summer heat, and dry fast after getting wet. Rated "Good" for quality since one pair (color - White Cap) faded from a light blue to almost white after the first time being worn in a pool - fortunately, the other two pairs did not fade at all.

I just bought three pairs of these shorts to replace ones I purchased at least 10 years ago. Those finally just wore out. I am retired and live on a large lake, so I wear these practically every day in summer around the house. I wear them on my daily walks, hiking, working in the yard, literally all of the time. Excellent quality, fit , durablity.

I do like these shorts as a replacement for the older model canoe water shorts I used to get from Columbia. Those were my favorites. I liked the older pocket style better and the fit on the legs was tighter. Only complaint on those was that after several years the elastic belt would wear out. Like the drawstring on this newer short.
