Great for hiking and everything else
Great hydration backpack for my 6 year old daughter. She loved being able to carry her own snacks and getting water easily when she wants. Fit perfectly. I only wish I had bought this sooner.

Good for little little guys and room to grow
My kids, 7 and 4 have one. Plenty of space for snacks and anything needed for their adventures. We live in and explore the dry, hot high deserts of New Mexico, Utah and Colorado. The kids have carried these for many miles with no complaints.

It’s so cute! We have the pink/purple one and love it. It’s the perfect size and holds more than just the water pack.

Love Camelpak
Love Camelpak. No spills. Durable. Plenty of room in the Scout's for my kids to pack toys for the trail as well as insect repellant, sunscreen, one or two small tools for on-the-go bike repairs and our house keys!

Buy this!
Perfect Camelbak for my 4 year old! Enough room for a set of clothes, lunch, and a few toys, with just the right amount of water for our adventures. Best part is, he is still able to carry it on his own. I highly recommend this back pack. It is great! I can’t wait to purchase another two for my older kids!

Excellent purchase!
I got this for my 5 year old and he loves it! He’s excited to have his own Camelbak, and it fits great. The cargo pocket it nice, so he can carry his own stuff. It’s also a great color!
When I was comparing options, I read that it comes with a safety whistle, and that there was a see-through pocket on the outside for “treasures”; this one doesn’t have those features but I don’t really mind. We got the red one. It was also a great price! (I paid nearly $30 to replace the bladder in mine, so this whole pack with a bladder for $38 is wonderful!)

Great product.
Great product for my 9 year old. It has plenty of room for his snacks, a change of clothes, etc. However, when I fill the water bladder up completely, my son does complain about it feeling heavy. However, this is my son's problem - not the product's problem :) I just add this to warn other parents that it might be good to fill up partially and start with short hikes if your child has never carried their own backpack before (like mine, I made the mistake of carrying everything for him for a long time).
The backpack is durable, looks great, and it is a great size.

Great for my kids
We bought one of these from Cabella's for a great price, but I wanted two. Cabella's was sold out, so I ordered directly from Camelbak. The kids, age 6 and 8, love using these bags when out walking or bike riding. We will use them camping so they can hold their binoculars, notebooks and pencils, reference books, snacks, and all the other things they'll need for a day hike. The bag is plenty big for all the things they'll need. The bladder is easier to use than an older Camelbak bag we have. It's easy to fill and clean, is large enough for the hike, but small enough so it's not super heavy when full. Really a good product.

My son loved it.
My wife, myself, the 4 year old boy took it out on a hike today. He wore it the whole time, never complained. If anything he took longer because he wanted to use the whistle and take more drinks from the spout. Super easy for him to use and we didnt have to carry his snacks or water!

CamelBak - Kids' Scout™ Hydration Pack
I got this for my grandson (7 for Christmas ... HE LUV'S IT!!! They have already sent me pics of him hiking with his Mom. Adjustable straps fit him well now and there's room to grow.

I’ll start off by saying I’m an adult and I bought it for myself. I love purple and I wanted something small for day hiking and this is perfect. It’s so easy to drink. I will say on a 6 hour hike I was happy I brought an extra water bottle to refill it. I might invest in the omega reservoir. There’s a lot of room in the actual bag for snacks, extra water, spikes, and clothes/towel. Overall, I love it!

Kids Hydration Pack

Kiddos love it
Nice size, got one for my then 3year old, have since gotten a couple more for other family as gifts. Will hold full size ipad, extra clothes for an overnight at the grands etc. my son absolutely loves it. Will get another for my daughter when she gets a bit bigger!!!
