Perfect size for trail running, with minimal movement while running. Easily adjusted with enough space for a wallet, phone, keys, and snack bar.

Great gear, lightweight and easy to use. Plenty of fluid for my 4-6 mile hikes. A warning, after a couple of miles on rough terrain, all that motion may make your beer go flat.

Wore it for my Spartan Beast, refilled it at the mid-way point and finished it entirely by the end - it was exactly what I needed. It had enough storage to carry gels for 2 people, gloves, and even more. It was extremely comfortable to wear, highly recommended it.

I have a long history of running including completing a marathon. For some reason, I never thought about hydration during a long run. Looking back makes no sense to me now! Anyway, I got this Camelbak for running and I absolutely love it. It is a game changer and I use it for even shorter runs now. Having the ability to drink and carry other snacks is so nice!! It is light weight even when the hydration bladder is full. I am a more muscular guy than a typical runner and this fits me perfectly. Holds all the essentials I need. Old dogs can learn new tricks!!

I used this for the first time this week. Training for a half marathon. I had some hydration problems in the past and this seems like it will be the perfect solution for me. Using it again tomorrow, but I'm very pleased with it and with the purchase.

My only complaint/improvement would be to add more pockets/storage stuff to the front of the straps so that I can have my Gels and protein bars in there instead of having to take it off to access these. There is one mesh "pocket" on the left strap but its simply not enough, please add more to both straps

Bought this a couple months ago after suffering on long runs in the dry mountain air with no fluids. This holds a great amount of water for 2-3 h, plus gels/bars and a phone. It fits really well and I forget I'm wearing it.

Love this pack! I usually do 6 miles on an average run. During the Summer it is HOT! It’s nice to have this little guy on my back during a long run. If you don’t mind a little extra weight on you- this is the pack for you!!

Over the last 5 weeks this pack has become my go to pack more often than not. It is a lightweight minimalist pack but still supplies a good amount of water for any day hike. There is a sweet spot on the water valve to get water that takes some getting used to but its easy to figure out. The only complaint I have is that the bladder can be tricky to get back in the pack after filling.

I bought this pack almost two months ago and I am so glad that I did. It is so comfortable! The straps easily adjust and tighten down and it is so easy to access the water tube and place it back in the holder. It is lightweight and yet I was surprised by how many storage compartments it has. I do sweat heavily on my back with the pack on due to the padded fabric but I'm running in 80-90 degree weather. When the bladder is completely full I get a chafe mark where the bottom of the pack rubs my back. Small price to pay! I have several packs and this is the best!

I've had my Dart since 2013 and it's probably saved my life a time or two. I'm a trail runner and marathoner and the 1.5L bladder holds enough water for when your run gets unexpectedly long. The straps get loose, but if you knot them, the pack stays in place. My only complaint is that the front pocket is too small for a smartphone and that the whole pack chafes. The material on the back is *very* rough and I've had pretty bad scrapes on my mid to lower back after 15-20 mile training runs.

I just purchased this to run a solo marathon. Once you get the bladder removed from the pack, it loads very easily. The fit is snug and comfortable and I hardly even knew it was there. The front pocket was perfect for storing Clif Bloks and there is room in the back for a phone and a few other small items. Would definitely recommend!!

I bought this pack specifically for running Hood to Coast and it was perfect! I like how compact it is while still having good storage for my phone and other small items. I only had one issue with the bladder leaking, but since then I've used it 10+ times and it's been great.

I use this hydration back pack for my long training runs. It is the perfect size for marathon training. It is very light weight even when full of water. The water hose stays out of the way with the easy clip on the front strap. On the left front strap there is a pocket for my gels, and a zippered pocket in the back for my keys and miscellaneous. ...the perfect product for long distance training sessions.

Thoroughly enjoy this pack, I use it for both mountain biking and running. Hydration pack is convenient, but really enjoy the pockets that are big enough to hold your phone or a snack.

Overall its a pretty good product. It’s breathable and lightweight. The fill system is not the easiest. It’s a little clunky and should be easier to fill.

I bought the Dart for long training runs in preparation for a 50 mile ultramarathon. After sevral uses I am very happy with the comfort. There is very little bounce aven with a phone in the pack. I like that the height of the chest strap slides to any position, and not just a few positions as with some other packs. The quality seems great. A few minor changes would make this perfect. First, I would like a pocket on the right sholuder strap (like the left side). Second, I would reverse the orientation of the side straps. As is, sometimes I feel the buckle rub on my arm. Attaching the buckle to the pack instead of the front straps would eliminate this problem. Third, use a water resevoir that can be filled without removing it from the pack. If you don't plan on wearing this during races, the current resevior is fine (and the big opening makes it easy to clean). Overall, this is a great pack for running.

The pack I purchased was recommended by a friend. We are endurance athletes and very particular about how support gear fits. I just ran a race with my pack. It was perfect! No bounce, no chafing, easy to drink, and held my nutrition. I would recommend this to all.

I chose this camelback because I wanted a lighter weight camelback from a reputable company. The two compartments on the pack are decently sized but will not hold as much as intended if you overfill your bladder (beyond 1.5L). This should be expected because the maximum capacity for the bladder is around 1.5L anyways. It is also very easy to fill an access. The shoulder strap compartment holds a lot more than you would expect considering I needed enough food to sustain a 30 mile race. It stretches and you think it may break but it is completely the opposite. I thought it was very interesting how this pack was made out of light material yet still incredibly durable. When I first picked up the pack I was concerned that it would tear or break during the race because the material seemed so fragile. But I was completely wrong and there aren’t even any visible signs of wear on the pack despite going through pits of mud and water, dragging it through dirt, and sliding down the sides of mountains.

I’m marathon training right now and needed a pack that was going to be able to hold more than just water. So many little pockets for things like keys, energy snacks, etc. It’s small and has lots of adjustable areas to make it fit your body exactly. So glad I made the purchase.

I have used my dart where I live in the tropics of far North Australia for around 2 years for my longer runs. Yups - could not imagine a more comfortable way to carry 1+ litre of water. The mesh on the shoulder straps could be a little less rough for singlet wearers. Good storage for flat items. Nups and improvements - I have had to tie knots in the webbing ( chest and shoulders to stop it working lose, I believe this is a common complaint on the Ultra vest? The outer material is not stretchy, limiting storage. A mesh outer pocket would be great for a cap or lightweight jacket. Another small pocket front right strap would also be handy.

I’ve had an assortment of Camel Bak products and packs for running and cycling, and this one is by far my favorite so far! Light weight, extremely comfortable, stays in place 100%, the reservoir is easily removable for fill up, and the tubing easily comes around the shoulder, no need for the hassle of feeding it through an opening in the pack. The compartments are also a decent size and easily accessable. Would recommend this pack!
