This pack is great. Plenty of space for some food and layers and having the water bladder is great. I would give 5 stars if my water didn't have a slight plastic taste from the bladder.

best purchase I've made in a long time. Roomy enough for the necessities. Sits pretty comfortably on the shoulders. Just wish the reservoir was easier to clean.

This pack has so much storage space! I've taken it on some long hikes and am able to fit snacks/lunch, extra clothing layers, and other hiking necessities without feeling like I'm overstuffing the backpack. Holds the perfect amount of water too for a few hours of hiking. I like that there is a waist belt to help make it easier to carry too.

I started hiking on 2020. This was my first hydro pack purchase. It has been awesome for day hikes- from 2 miles to 16 miles. In the winter I have been able to shove my extra layers and vest in the large pocket, reservoir does not slip if popped in properly with the hook. Reservoir space is large enough to also hold a your sawyer squeeze or snack. The outside pockets are great for shoving a canteen bottle in, snack, etc. waste pockets keep my inhaler on hand?s reach and allow easy access for my phone. The loops on the front provide a place for my sunglasses. Now that it is summer, I haves it for 14er with a second bladder for 5l of water carry. After 250 miles of hiking over the last 6 months and some bloopers the bag has held up well and breathes well on hot hiking days.

I brought this backpack on a hiking trip through Utah. Many 10+ mile hikes during my trip. This back pack was absolutely perfect. The amount of water it holds is more than enough! The outer zipper holds snacks for long hiking days as well as first aid kit and miscellaneous (chapstick, phone, hats and gloves) items. Many other little compartments for tiny items! The best part is it never felt heavy on my back!!

I was finally able to take this pack out on a 8 mile hike this past weekend and it worked perfectly. I want to address the other reviews that said the bladder was sliding down. As long as I can remember camelbak has always sewn in a loop at the top of the packs where are you can then hook your bladder insert to. maybe some clarification in the product description and/or on the hangtag would help people who aren’t quite as intuitive as me. Aside from that it was the perfect size for 2 L of water, a second layer, food, and a first aid kit. It’s pretty light and out of the box it didn’t really need to be adjusted too much. My only con to this pack is the placement of the buckles on the draw straps. They rubbed against my biceps and was noticeable with or without trekking poles. That’s my only complaint. Aside from that it’s pretty much perfect for the hiking needs. I’m very happy with my purchase!
