I had this travel mug and lost it. It was my most favorite of ALL TIME. I had to search to find a replacement in a color close to my favorite one. Anyway, I much prefer the Forge over the Forge divide. Too bad it looks like the Forge Divide is the newer version, and the Forge is getting phased out. I purchased 2, so if I ever loose another, I have a back up. I like that if fits the cup holder in my car. It does not spill, even if on it's side or upside down. The loop gives me a way to grab it when my hands are full. The top is easy to fully open and clean. The one touch use (push the button to open top when drinking... is great. And it keeps my coffee hot a long time. Really, this is my most favorite coffee mug of all time!

I use this mug all day, everyday. It keeps my coffee toasty in my daily bicycle commute. I might complain about the kid cracking. However, Camelbak absolutely stands behind it and is sending me a new lid.

I have two, I use them every day, I love them because they work, as do many insulated bottles, but these have a built in handle and can be used one-handed - those sold me. Over the years, they have taken falls and first one, then the other lid cracked. Both at the threads, which if you think about it, are a stress point with this handle design. Camelbak replaced both and I was back in business until one cap fell apart at the opening mechanism. This one I cannot figure out, but it did. I'l see if they feel like sending me another one,

Keeps my drinks hot, I love the loop because I’m always bringing multiple bags in from the car, so I can carry with just a finger. Leak proof, so I don’t have to worry about it leaking in my backpack.

I'm a long time fan of this brand. Have bags and numerous different vessels. This continues the high standards that I've come to expect and appreciate from them. Didn't really like the way the top works at first but i've come to appreciate it. It's quick and easy to clean and manage on the go. Though i'm not that much of a fan of the locking mechanism to hold it open. Overall a very good product and look forward to using it for the next few years.

I have a previous Forge (smaller) that has been dropped on rocks, concrete and asphalt more times than I can count. Every time I drop it I say, "THIS is why we have nice things". It has been tossed in an endless amount of bags, typically partially full, and has NEVER LEAKED. If you are looking for the best travel coffee mug on the market, stop because you've found it. Typically if I'm buying something twice it's because I liked it so much the first time (and it broke). Well I'm so pleased to say my first Forge simply looks well-loved, but is beyond perfect in every other way. It's endlessly refreshing to find a company that makes a product that wasn't built to break.

Lost two, have two, bought two more when I found out they were being discontinued. People actually complain about HOT coffee!?! That’s what I love about this cup - It keeps coffee hot for 4-5 hours. Even at six hours, it’s still drinkable. And it’s spill proof, as long as you don’t lock it open. Hangs from the shoulder strap when I’m backpacking.. If I had a complaint it would be that you can’t run the cup portion through the dish washer. Accidentally bought the 12 oz size but a ‘red eye’ fits just fine.

I recently bought this cup and I absolutely love it. It keeps my coffee hot for over half of the day. I don’t stop much at work and one day it was still hot at 11am and I put the coffee in the cup at 7:30

I have used this almost every day for just under 5 years while traveling on 4 continents. Keeps my coffee nice and hot, and the lid is perfect for easy sipping. I have dropped this several times (often having to chase it out from under a car), have dented the cup, worn the paint and the only time it spills is when I forget and leave the top latched open. The lid just broke ( the pivot point where you open/close to drink) and now it leaks sometimes. I can't wait to get a new one.

Yes two, so that one is always clean and ready to go. It really does keep beverages hot for hours. I actually wait until my tea is drinkable temp before putting it in, otherwise it stays too hot to drink for an hour or so. I use it for cold drinks as well. It keeps ice overnight. Another favorite feature is the loop in the cap that allows me to clip it to my purse or backpack with a carabiner! Also, I have found it to be truly leakproof. I have no issues with stuffing it in my coat pocket on cold mornings. My OG is about 3 years old(?) and still in heavy rotation.

Works well with hot or cold, including carbonated in my experience. Cap design solved all of the problems that all of my other containers have (now confident in the lid hygene, seems absolutely leak proof, easy to use and easy to clean). I just bought five more for my wife, our kids, and their spouses.

I purchased my first Forge a few years ago, found out it is being discontinued, so I bought an extra, along with the newer 20 oz Hot Cap. The Forge does great at keeping coffee warm, especially the 2nd cup, after its been warmed up for awhile. I will run hot water in mine first to help keep the coffee warmer longer.

My husband bought me one of these for Valentine's Day (a red one, very thoughtful) and I absolutely love it! (So much so, he asked me to order one for him) These cups keep our coffee hot for HOURS, this is seriously an amazing cup! I have used it out on ski slopes and have not had an issue with my coffee getting cold in between runs. As others have commented, the base of the cup must be hand washed. This small drawback will not deter me from crowing about how great these cups are! The lid fits securely and having the ability to close or keep it open is great and, once the lid is removed from the cup, pushing the lever pops the top up for easy washing! I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes to keep their coffee (or beverage of choice) insulated! At this price point, I think I will buy a few more!

It is a great coffee vessel - but the lid isn't durable as it should be. The first thermos I've got as a present. after a short while the lid is broken by normal use. Then I've bought a new one, but the lid broke as the first one. The problem is, where to get a new closure? Here in Germany it isn't so easy. Perhaps you could help me out. I bought my first one of these 2 years ago and loved it, now have 5. Like the shape of the mug edge to drink from and leak proof seals, especially like the ergonomics as it's easy to use. Only problem I had was one lost it's vacuum so wouldn't keep drinks hot, was changed under warranty by REI.

This is top of the line to keep coffe hot. Better than any other insulated container I have tried. I would give it 5 stars if you could purchase lid separately because they break in 6 months from use. Consequently you have to purchase steel mug too.

When I left my old CamelBak forge 16 oz on a Habitat job site recently, I couldn't settle for anything else to replace it. Good thermal properties and amazing air- and liquid-tight sealing. So, don't hesitate to throw it, full of liquid, in a bag or pack with your clothes -- everything will be dry when you pull it out. Get in the habit of pulling the trigger to open it before you move it toward your face -- it will puff out pressurized air and just a little liquid because it is so air tight. It will build pressure when it contains hot liquid. So glad to find a replacement. Great price here, too!

I received the mug as a gift and loved it. The lid is great and the insulation keeps my coffee warm throughout the day. The issue I have is with the paint job. I am on my second mug (first one was replaced because of the paint job as well). I only hand wash the vessel and the paint has peeled away from the top on both mugs I have had. I like the fact that it was replaced but having to spend money to ship it back only to have it happen again is more than a little frustrating. I believe that Camelbak makes great products and surprised by the issue that I am having. If you don't care about how it looks, it is a great mug.

Bought this a month ago for the commute and it is great. Hot coffee from the Keurig at 0730 is still warm enough to be drinkable at 1500. Not super hot, but not cold either. And it's fallen over or been dropped at least four times and never leaked a drop.

I have a box of travel mugs that all claim to do what the Camelbak Forge accomplishes. It is amazing how hot my Tea is after 2 hours and through 5 hours. I own 6 and have to hide one from my family to make sure there is always one available for me. It is innovative, quality made and a well thought out invention. It took me a while before I understood that the "lock open" feature allowed it to breathe, when screwing on the top, when full of liquid so that it didn't flow over the sides. I also learned that using denture cleaning tablets and letting them soak overnight once a week keeps the tea stains from accumulating. Also, the best cup to use on a boat too. you can lay it down on it's side, without leaking, if there aren't any cup holders. I am actively looking to add to my collection so if anyone here is negative on this product, contact me. I would be happy to buy it used from you. They last forever.
