This is a really nice product but there's one thing I don't care for too much. The bite valve is at a 45 degree angle from the hose rather than 90 degrees. When I bring it up to drink the bite valve is at a 45 degree angle from my mouth. I have to bend the hose 45 degrees to put the bit valve in my mouth comfortably. My old hydration pack had the bite valve at 90 degrees and it was perfect. How about offering the pack with a 90 degree valve? This would be perfect for people who aren't wearing helmets, which is 99.99% of the hikers I run into on the trail. Other than this it's a great product. Good quality and well made. One last suggestion is that my old pack had a plastic tab on the bottom of the cover flap that made it easy to pull over the plastic flange on the bottom of the water inlet. The new one doesn't have this tab so I have to put my finger under the lower lip of the flap and pull it over the flange like that. This is awkward and inconvenient. The plastic tab on my old Camelbak was much easier to use. Ergonomics is key to a product like this. I still like the pack and wear it when I hike 4 days a week but I'm trying to come up with fixes for both of the problems. Maybe I'll get a bite valve from another companies product and put it on this thing. I think I can make a plastic grab tab and attach it to the flap. It's a nice product and I like it but it would be better with these two improvements. Let me know when you fix these problems and I'll buy another one. P.S. You misspelled "Conveninet water access" one the Pros question below. It should be "Convenient water access". This isn't a big deal but I thought you'd like to know. We all make typos once in a while.

I'm not a hiker or anything but I get dry mouth or thirsty very easily. Im also in a hot climate, but carring my 1L bottle full of water in my hand not only hurt my wrists and felt awkward but had the effect of discoruaging me from excercising. I liked the idea of a camelbak, and I'm 100% glad I got one, I can walk until my feet hurt now and feel good about it. No going up amd down three flights of stairs into an air conditioned apt just for a sip of water anymore! For anyone considering, I hughly reccomend this. There is no issue with the functionality of the product and I find it great even though I'm not doi g serious hiking or running. Got a very good price too :) I bought the neon yellow color, which adds to my nighttime visibility which i love.

Great classic pack at a great price. Camelbak quality will allow me to use and abuse this pack for years and years going forward. I made the mistake of buying a cheaper competitor product. Guess who’s back after dealing with leaks early on. This guy! As my dad always said “The quality remains long after the price is forgotten.” Soo true.

My kids ride their bikes when we jog daily, and they love wearing this and being able to get quick sips to stay hydrated. It is small enough and lite enough for them to wear it comfortably for a few hours.

This bag arrived exactly as expected. It is slightly smaller than I had hoped but good thing I have another pack to use as a day bag. This is perfect for shorter hikes but definitely opt for something larger if you are going on a full day or longer hike.

I have used camelbak for years with no issues, this is why I purchased this one. The only issue I have is that it is difficult to get a complete seal on the cap which allows the water to leak out. .

A pretty solid unit just the right size. I have yet to run out of water between trail heads. Well insulated , easy to load up with ice. Easy to clean.

This pack is awesome! I recently have done some long mtb races and having this pack saved me from dehydration. I was able to drink a lot more because I didn't have to reach for a bottle.
