Lightweight and feel very durable. The poles felt sturdy even while hiking downhill with a 30lb pack. The locking mechanisms are easy to use and they telescope smoothly with length measurements on the poles so you can ensure they are the same length everytime. The included powder baskets are a nice touch so that they can be used snowshoeing as well

Easily adjustable and lightweight, these poles are great for trekking. Flick-locks are super easy to use and hold position well even when I lean my full weight on them. Highly recommend.

My pill got stolen out of my car recently so I got these instead. I had them for 15 years or more. These ones are lighter weight but the handle at the top is a little thinner so just not have as much surface area for going downhill as my previous pair. Still my favorite hiking poles I've used regardless.

We got these to replace a pair of decade old Komperdells that finally have started to fail on us. They are great - we have used them for winter hiking and snowshoeing up by Rocky Mountain National Park and they are light weight with easy to use and very functional locking mechanisms. Awesome product!

Recently purchased these trekking poles from Black Diamond and took them on my most recent backpacking trip. Hiked roughly 38 miles in two days and these trekking poles were fantastic. The cork handles are amazing and keep your hands from getting sticky and sweaty. The poles are lightweight and the straps are extremely comfortable. Highly recommend!

Love the poles, very light and very comfortable on the wrist and hands. The only downside is not having a cover for the tips for concrete/harder surfaces. The latch also works very well, keeps everything in place!

using these trekking poles during a recent night training exercise, these trekking poles worked great. walking up and down mountain terrain with a 40lb pack at night on very unstable ground the poles kept me balance throughout exercise.

I love my new cork poles. The last pair I had lasted me hiking the Appalachian Trail, Colorado Trail, and Pacific Crest Trail. The quality is top notch and I am about to hike the Te Araroa in New Zealand. I know these will save me from busting my butt like they have so many times in the past. The company has excellent service and I will continue to be a customer for years to come.

I have used Black Diamond trekking poles for many years. My previous poles were the kind that break down into three sections and are not adjustable. I thought that I would try something different with the new poles that I bought. I found these poles to be very sturdy aluminum and easy to adjust. My previous fixed poles were 130 cm but were sometimes too long for me on certain terrain. The Trail Cork poles give me the option of adjusting down in length to make hiking on variable terrain steadier. The cork grips are comfortable. The flip locks make for a slip proof hold once the poles are adjusted to the proper length. I definitely can recommend Black Diamond trekking poles which have saved me a number of times from tipping over and for sure keep my knees in good shape.

I was quite happy with the Alpine FLZ in aluminum, but BD discontinued them and now they are only available in carbon, which is lighter but not as resilient. As a closed alternative, the Pursuit line; however, they seem less durable as they are lighter and made with 7000 Aluminum shafts. That being said, the Trail Cork Trekking Poles feature 7075 Aluminum shafts. For a few ounces more, they stand out as the most durable poles. I just wish they could have the FlickLock+ (like the Pursuit line) and offer an FLZ version. Nevertheless, the locking system has proven to be reliable and easy to adjust. These poles are durable and resilient for rocky technical terrain. Since I backpack with a pole tent, I can't afford to have a failing pole in the field, making durability my priority. With their natural cork grip and foam grip extension, they feel incredibly comfortable.

This company is extremely helpful with warranty issues. It was easy to upload my receipt and photos to support my claim. Several weeks later new poles arrived in the mail. I would have appreciated some feedback so I knew the status. Overall excellent warranty claim.
