BioLite HeadLamp 330

The HeadLamp 330 was purchased in Fort Collins in April, 2023. In January, 2024, the headlamp unfortunately seemed to lose a charge quickly. Biolite was contacted via email. The customer support replied quickly, making a couple of appropriate recommendations: "use another cord" and "make sure the unit is charged overnite". After exhausting issues that would point to something other than the battery, Biolite customer service was informed of this and so, Biolite sent me a replacement unit. Couldn't ask for better customer support. These days, that is worth the cost of any type of purchase. So, although the unit did have an apparent battery fail, the company stood behind the product. For that, they deserve a 5 star review.

Been nordic skiing and running regularly at night for 3 years with this light. Great performance in all temperatures and the rain. Is comfortable with the battery in the back.

I never thought I would get so jazzed about a headlamp. This little wonder is so light, comfortable, intuitive, and long-lasting. I had another brand prior to this one, and I never thought particular features were very critical--light is just light, right? Now it doesn't seem that way. This thing fits like a glove, and practically operates by intuition. I have been so pleased with this headlamp, the best outdoor gear purchase I've made in the last couple years. The only possible drawback is that the lamp button is tiny, so with my big hands I need to use the corner of a fingernail to operate it. But its compactness is part of its special appeal, and I knew that going into it. I use my BioLite 330 not just hiking, but for evening yard work, searching in dark closets, looking for my lost pet at night, etc. Its brightness is plenty for my needs--I wouldn't want a brighter light, most of the time I dim it down from its maximum output, anyway. If I lost mine, there is no way I would replace it with a different headlamp. I'm a BioLite 330 convert.

I love the battery pack on the back, it makes this headlamp lightweight on the forhead. My son tried on mine and his then his and took mine on his backcountry trip.

Nice size and light weight. Fits comfortably. Great for walking my pup when it's dark. Good back up and preferable to a handheld flashlight.

I love this headlamp! You really don?t even feel it on your head! This is my second one. My first one lasted a couple of years of constant use, since I mostly run in the dark. Super bright too

This is very light weight light and it starts on the red light so I don't blind myself or others trying to get to the red light. Great choice!

Biolite never lets me down. I have been using these headlamps for years. The last purchase was a gift, as mine are still working and hold a charge forever!

I got them as Christmas gifts. Since I love mine. I use for camping, running, the beach etc. it is light and practical. We use a solar charger.

Amazing headlamp for an amazing price. Owner of several lamps and i was always disappointed. After reading a review from a magazine, I decided to give it a shot. Has everything I could want. Hi, low, flood strobe and red. Heck of a product. Holding up well in the cold upper midwest. I will be purchasing more as these are exactly what i have been looking for. Slim, powerful, and lightweight. You almost do forget you are wearing it. Thank you!

This is my Second Biolight 330..I bought my first 3 years ago. I love the this light, it is lightweight, easy to change from one light setting to another has lots of lumen for the activities I do...my main reason for buying the second one the first lost most of it's elastic in the band and became hard to adjust ...i think after 3 years of a LOT of use I am ok with that. I do astrophotography and I love the RED light feature and the fact that once in that mode it will go back on after off to the red light . For the money it has been the BEST light i have purchased in the last 10 years.

I love my Biolite headlamp, I live in Alaska so running in the dark is a 6 months+ reality for me (morning trails in the woods. I love the brightest setting, it really helps me see especially in the dark fall, before the snow lights up the place. BUT, I have had my headlamp for maybe 3 years now, 2 for sure, and the brightest setting won't "stay" it fads to a lower level of brightness quite quickly and I have to reset it to the bright setting. Is this a reality of the age of it? Or a fluke?

So just picked up this 330 and tried it as soon as I got home! It feels fantastic and you can hardly tell it?s on! Not only is the feel fantastic but the amount of light this little thing puts out is incredible! I?m very pleased with this product and would recommend it! you?re in the market for great headlamp check This one out!

I work night shift so I typically run trails at night on my days off. This light has been great for me so far. I use the dimmer flood light to navigate the trails but have the spot light available when I get spooked. Tonight I forgot to charge it after my previous run. I thought I?d have enough battery for two runs but I got stranded in the dark tonight and had to use my smart watch light to get back home. This light does not seem to have the reserve feature I thought it did. I had cross shopped this to the 750 that does have that feature. I still give this light 5 stars because me getting stranded was my fault. I will be buying a tiny backup light to carry now. A reserve feature may be nice to add on future models! Regardless I love the light. The fit, weight and rechargability is great. Maybe next year I?ll get myself the 750.

This headlamp is the best I've ever owned by far. It stays put, doesn't slip and hit my nose. The charge is very long and I don't have to fuss with little screwdrivers and batteries. I love that it can be recharged!! I bought 2 more for my husband and daughter, and I'm saving up to buy a fourth for my 8 year old, because I know they are worth the money.

I did not realize it could ONLY be recharged by USB. I thought you could also use regular batteries, so this will have to stay someplace that has electricity. Carrying an extra pack to recharge will not be practical for my trip, and I will NEED lighting for 10 days.

Extremely light with weight distributed well and balanced front/back. Particularly like easy tilt angle select, common "mode" memory when turning on/off (no need to cycle through all possible modes every time and excellent dimming

Great little headlamp, I have 3 now because they?re just so useful. Lightweight too, I did have to have one replaced after getting cleaner in it, so I?m not sure how great they would be in the rain, but I love mine.

I've owned this headlamp for about 2 years and mostly use it in short increments like taking the dogs out, or for 20 mins during morning walks until the suns up. I've used it on longer night trail runs and a few short backpacking trips. The battery life is good but I wish there was some sort of vibration warning in the headband or tone alert when you had about 5-10 mins of battery left. I was left mid trail run (on a rocky section suddenly in the dark. I had a backup lamp and could quickly stop on the trail so it wasn't an issue, but it could have been a different story.

I really this lamp : really light, simple to use, bright enough, the adjustable brightness is great. But I have two complains : - Micro-usb and not usb-c - the red light is too bright and not adjustable. While camping, my friends complained about the too bright red light and the headlamp doesn't allow to orient it directly to the ground.
